News Update: Public Release and Future Content

TLDR: Cyber Rift public release on February 22nd, Patron early access 1 week after release to one more NSFW scene that we have in the works, first update planned for release in 1-2 months. 

Today we got some exciting information to our future, as well as a concrete release date for our newest version of Cyber Rift to public! The public version will release on February 22nd, and patrons will be receiving another NSFW scene that we've been working on one week later (more info on this later on). For the past few months we've had a lot of ups and downs with development due to various personal issues and figuring out the overall direction with Cyber Rift as a whole. After the initial reboot and then the subsequent rework, we had to go back to the drawing board and really decide where we were going to take the game. Deciding to stick to more of a Point and Click Adventure styled game with Visual Novel elements, we tried to take the best aspects of both genres and combine them into a much more coherent and interesting experience. Overall we have a completely new experience with the game and we're hoping everyone will enjoy it!

This new version will feature 2 NSFW scenes, and 5 collectible pinups that players can find scattered throughout the game. With the testing done in the latest versions, we've been able to make everything a hell of a lot more stable and fix a lot of the smaller problems before public release. We're extremely thankful for all the feedback and effort patrons have put in, and we're hoping you'll enjoy the brand new NSFW art that we're adding! We intended on 3 NSFW scenes originally, but we realized we didn't quite have enough time to get the third one ready. So rather than try to rush and blast out a lower quality scene, we're going to be adding the third NSFW scene in about 1 week later after public release. Patrons will get access to this as soon as it's ready, and we're going to be keeping you guys very up to date with all the new content we're preparing in the future.

Our content plan is to release a new update every 1-2 months, and also let patrons contribute to the game by suggesting new scenes as well as characters for future patron pinups. We really want to keep you guys involved with the development process, and as we get new content ready our Cyber Owl patrons will have access to earlier builds and be able to help test out new features before we're ready to show everyone. This time around we're really focused on making sure you guys are as up to date as possible, and we definitely have a lot of new surprises in the near future!
