Cyber Rift: Next Update and Plans for Future

Hey all, today we wanted to discuss Cyber Rift and where we’re heading with the rest of the game. We really appreciate the amount of support from Patrons, and it’s been incredible to see how the game’s community has grown and always happy to see people’s reactions to new content. The game has and always will be a passion project for the team, and we realized that some updates are gonna take longer than others. We wanted to show the plan for Cyber Rift, but moreso we wanted to show the overall heading for future content.

This next update we’re heading to a new planet (name pending) which will have an ancient Chinese theme with a futuristic twist! Since we don’t want to give all the details, we thought we’d share a much more ambitious bit of info. Here’s a list of all the future planets that we currently have in concepting:

• Tron Inspired Planet
• Forest Planet (Most likely will have furry girl)
• Shopping Planet (basically biggest mall of the galaxy, mainly for high fashion)
• Steampunk planet (rejects normal tech for more steam driven future)
• Medieval Planet
• Desert Planet
• Ocean Planet
• NeoTokyo style planet
• Tropical island style planet
• Space Station ran by gang (Gang-star if you will)

We’re hoping to feature every single one of them, and though updates sometimes will take longer than a month, we want you to know that Cyber Rift has a set goal for what we’re trying to accomplish. Things like pinups and patron polls are somethings that we want to focus on. You’ll be seeing more Patron focused content specifically asking what you want to be featured. We also want to have a public option for the next poll, and try to grow the community and see what type of features people are looking for in new content. The biggest thing we want to get across is we’re in this for the long haul, and no matter what we’ll continue to produce quality art and hopefully fun content for you guys!

That’s all we have for today, but we wanted to make it clear that the next update will be delayed by one month. However! This month, we’re gonna be doing two pinups with the first one being Zone-Tan. The public poll will be for the next pinup, and we’ll be doing a Patron one for the one after!
