About the Manga

• Plot
  • Magu, Izuma, Ren and Napu have infiltrated the holy knights compound to rescue Ruru. Izuma valiantly fights Uneras until it’s revealed that it was all just a prank, lol what you thought magu chan would have a plot? The knights just wanted to make sure that magu actually cared about a human and Uneras wasn’t just lying like usual. Magu confronts Uneras’s true form and hangs a sign of shame around her head. Next it’s Christmas and magu tries to become Santa Claus to gain followers and ends up traumatizing a woman into creating a successful clothing line.

  • Then Ruru starts trying to figure out her dreams of the future so she asks everyone’s what theirs are, and then she does the same thing the next day and the next day until the gods realize that every day is repeating itself. This is the fault of the second pillar: Yupisisu the eternal who is a jellyfish. Yuppi is trying to grant Ruru’s previous wish that these days could go on forever, but in reality they want to find out what humans truly desire and has become impressed with Ruru. When they finally approach Ruru and points out that she’s going to die one day, Ruru is totally cool with it. She’s decided that she wants to be a mom and help people like her mom.

  • Yuppi is confused so they go back in time and read all of magu chan: god of destruction. They continue going though and watch as Ruru gets older, gets married, has kids, and becomes a grandma. Finally on her deathbed she thanks magu-chan for destroying her loneliness before passing away. Magu actually starts crying and it is the saddest thing in the universe.

  • Izuma, Uneras, and that fate guy no one cares about decide that they must sadly seal magu away again since Ruru is no longer here to keep his power in check. Magu goes to sleep and thinks about his time with Ruru before one day waking up and meeting a little girl named Ruri, asking her to be his new disciple. Also Napu started a successful restaurant that’s still around in the future hell yeah. There’s a bonus chapter where a comedy of errors leads to Ren confessing that he likes ruru, and she runs away but it’s clear she likes him too.

Where it did worse

• Everyone really finished their arcs volumes ago so now it’s kinda like well what’s the point of anything
• The humor was kinda pushed to the side

What it did better

• Lol that anti climax from Uneras you wench
• Lmao uneras with the I lied sign
• I feel the series knows its ending so it’s just kinda vibing
• Daww santa magu
• Fate being op in a time loop is Clever
• Finally going in on a plot
• Honestly the ending was kind of beautiful

Misc Thoughts

• I realize the perfect VA for Naputa would be Dana Snyder (Master Shake from Aqua Teen)
• Wait did they really not talka bout santa before?
• I think this is the first time someone went insane seeing an elder good
• A manga about all the wrapped up in the epilogue characters would be hilarious like the fashion designer and musician
• Yuppie talks in square boxes like the narrator
