Concept Artwork - Slugg

You may remember Thabo referring to the group as Slugg's Bandits in Chapter 6. And Chapter 7 is titled Dinner with Slugg. So who is Slugg anyway? I've put together my concept sketches for Slugg and you're the first to see them!
You can see some are young Slugg and some are old Slugg. You'll be seeing very soon in Chapter 7 that now Slugg is an old withered version of his former self and you'll only hear it suggested how mean and powerful he used to be.
You can see a few different directions I was exploring in these sketches and the final will be a blend of several of these. I can't wait to get into Chapter 7 and introduce you all to this guy!
