The backgrounds for this page were drawn while demo-ing digital comic creation techniques at the Indianapolis Museum of Art Winter Film Series screening of Princess Mononoke! How cool is that? They had a few artists there for the hour before the screening with materials and tables set out for people to draw and learn about comics. I was invited there with my laptop and tablet to demonstrate how I make our book series.
