update - whats going on, new wishlists, and photoshoots

goo morning my beloved patrons!!!!!!!!!!!!

how are you today!!!! im in a really good mood because nice stuff just happened and i have a lot of cool stuff to tell you guys about!!

first off: my throne wishlist is now up!!! 

i am finally off the waitlist! before i link it, i want to kind of give thoughts about having it and stuff.

as you guys know im incredibly reluctant to ask for money, support, etc - i feel like i dont deliver content consistently enough to deserve more than the incredibly amount i already get !!! this is why i dont really advertise my gumroad or patreon or kofi and just let my links sit there silently for people to find themselves. i get so much kindness and support than i could ever even dream of and feel incredibly guilty even implying i want more. one of the biggest gripes i have with my work is how wasteful costume making and cosplaying is in the grand scheme of everything. a lot of scraps, fabric, etc always gets wasted or ruined in the creation process and the amount of details im putting into the costumes im making myself (like my kangel and nezuko and stuff) leave a lot behind in my work space since they have a lot of unique elements i don't use in a lot of other costumes. i really hate this for the excess trash this makes in the long run, for the fact someone else's hard earned money bought me that supplies, and for the fact it takes up space in my very small apartment and makes it harder to find what i need to finish other projects etc. im moving so hopefully soon costume creation in general will get easier, but until then ive decided to start leaning on more costumes made by other people that i really admire and feel comfortable adding my flares to. 

and as im sure a LOT of you notice, my body is kind of.... unique!!! and a lot of the time i dont fit into a lot of costumes made for mass consumption and i end up having to DIY them a lot anyway, i.e. a lot of the costumes i have on my shelf to be photographed right now are things i had to take apart and resew to fit me. sadly a lot of things from amazon, ebay, etc aren't made for people with 56"+ busts (understandably so lol) and i end up making waste that way anyway. 

so the best thing to really fix all of the problems i have is to start buying custom made costumes that are very cute and i can so photoshoots in easily, as well as characters that are flashy or fun enough i can justify using a premade and showing off the details another costumer made for me.

throne has this feature i really like called community funding where you can donate an amount that isnt the entire sum of the item to help out, which i think is a really unique feature that more wishlists should have.

i'll still use my amazon wishlist for supplies, wigs, and other small items but i'm going to try my hardest to avoid buying amazon costumes for the foreseeable future, until i get my stuff together and get more room!!!

second : i booked the photo studio!!

i booked the photo studio last night!!! i got about a 5 hour time slot at a local small business with my friend helping to photograph me (mari, my "producer" LOL)

this is going to give me a lot of insanely cute content to post but sadly i have to wait a few weeks because the time slot was crazy booked! im gonna use this time to refine and finish the rest of my costumes, theyre all looking great so far and i cant wait to show you!!!! 

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who helped me on kofi to get the studio space !!!! not having to do a giant 5-7 costume photoshoot in my apartment is going to be so much better for my physical and mental health, you have NO idea how great it is i could do this !!!!!

third : vlogs videos etc

!! ive been taking my sweet ass time finishing my videos right now and im so sorry, i have my q&a and vlog almost done but im going really slow for some reason even though im not doing much. its hard to sit and stare at yourself for hours when youre fragile, which i am lately lol

sorry for the lack of updates on the longterm projects as usual, im trying my best i promise and im so so grateful for the people who like what i do being patient with me and my slow pace, its helping me a lot to have support even though im not as fast or as frequent as other creators

i have some more stuff to post for this month before i get ready for the big month of content that will be September, I CANNOT BELIEVE ITS SEPTEMBER ALREADY NEXT MONTH???? where has this year gone yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
