This book contains the core rules to fight a tabletop skirmish battle.
This is an updated version, where there has been some changes to the rules and additional abilities have been added.
The old “pass or fail” bravery checks are gone. Now, morale is a living system that shifts dynamically during battle. Fighters don’t just break or hold — they can become Shaken, fighting on but with mounting penalties, or collapse entirely into Panic, fleeing the field and dragging nearby allies down with them.
Critical rolls add drama: a single bad roll can trigger panic across your line, while a clutch success can steady even the most terrified warrior. And when enemies strike panicked fighters, the results are brutal — extra accuracy and extra damage make them easy prey.
This system adds tension, risk, and cascading consequences to every bravery test, turning morale into a weapon as dangerous as any sword.
