The Eukk is a hardy animal, well adapted to the mountainous landscape of Tenehu. It serves as the primary beast of burden and is an essential companion to any who seek to travel long distances. Though larger beasts exist, the Eukk is the one most commonly seen carrying supplies and wares on military expeditions and merchant caravans alike.

They are kept not only for transport but also for their soft, warm wool—highly valued in textiles—and as a source of meat.

Eukks are social animals that live in grazing herds and can form close bonds with their human companions—provided one does not mind being spit at on occasion. Their natural fear of predators is another trait that makes them especially useful when traversing the cursed realm, as they are quick to sound the alarm at the first sign of danger.

Because these animals are so vital to life in Tenehu, they are well cared for and often decorated with pride.
