He knew arguing would be fruitless and climbed up to his table. After a short wait, Katherine joined Jack at the table, placing his meal before him. When he saw only one plate of food, Jack was confused; seeing his confusion, Katherine explained that she had already eaten. But that wasn’t the only thing puzzling Jack.
