E3 Week Update

Hello! No Bloodborne this week as E3 is a monssssterrrrrrr. Maybe some Daft Souls, but afraid that's also a maybe - most people are miles away. Posted this on the subreddit about Abridged stuff, putting it here for you too:

"Yo! Writing something here as I'm getting asked about this on Twitter a LOT right now. Yes, I will be doing something similar this year, but it will also be a little bit different. Still in the process of working on the skeleton and not sure exactly what it'll BE when it's done, but something that resembles that thing wot you like is being made, slowly, by me. Aiming to have it sorted this week, but not going to rush it - so we'll see how things go.

Oh, and much love to all of you who've enquired, blows my mind that the dumb videos I've made over the past few years are still much-loved by so many people. Have a lovely day. x"

So yeah, something being made! What? I dunno! It will likely be similar but not quite the same, and some people will like it more and some people will like it less. THAT IS THE NATURE OF THE UNIVERSE. Expect fewer silly voices and noises and fewer gags about how presenters are dressed, and more jokes about the tone and context of the show. Ideally I'd like it to be something that could be watched and enjoyed by people who haven't seen all of the conferences already, and I also want to unsure that while I'll definitely be taking the piss, it isn't in a way that's pointless or at all mean-spirited.

I think I've almost got a decent idea of what the final thing will be like, but it might almost end up being like a mini comedy TV program that's all about E3. How long this will take to produce - and how long it'll take for me to put it all together in a way that works in terms of pacing - is still a big unknown. I've yet to see half of the conferences, so it may take a while!

I'm actually away for most of next week, so I'm aiming to work my buns off in the hope of getting it done for Monday at the latest - but if it feels like I'm rushing it or getting a bit lost, it may end up being pushed back to the 29th at the latest. Worst-case scenario, but there you go.

ANYWAY, tons of people will moan if that's the case, but I trust that most of the people here know that these things can take time, and that the wait is usually worth it.
