2014-12-29 22:29:53 +0000 UTCIt was a bit crap, but completely interesting if you had read the comics, because you knew that what happened at the end of the episode couldn't have happened. I think the real problem was that they wrapped it up so quickly next episode.

2014-12-18 16:19:42 +0000 UTCI don't think it's terrible, it's just that the narrative trick they used at the start of episode 2 made me entirely lose interest in the whole thing. In storytelling terms it was a pure cheap trick, didn't give me enough faith in the rest of the product to continue much further.

I mean, I had read some of the comics which is probably part of what caused me to at least be interested, but if it did anything, it fixed the Mass Effect problem of not having your choices have a lasting effect. Everything you've done throughout the episodes comes together in an astonishingly tense ending scene. Mind, the middle episodes drag a bit and some could probably be cut without losing much, but that ending stuff. So good.
