Well, I'm still waiting for cats and colors, so here are the pencils and words! I'll of course be back later with the final page etc. Our holiday was lovely, and now the kid is heading back for the final few weeks of school. While he was home we watched something they'd discussed in the History of Animation class: The Adventures of Prince Achmed, apparently the oldest surviving feature-length animated movie. It was animated by Lotte Reiniger using paper silhouettes and I find the technique fascinating. It looks like so much work.
