Ooof, today has been a day of many things! It's late, but all the potatoes are prepped and I shoved them in the freezer which I know is not great for potatoes but the alternative was that they sit in the kitchen while we go to this Magic the Gathering thing in Portland. That wouldn't be great, because we'd return to a kitchen full of little bugs, which I would not like but the spider who lives in the window might be happy, I don't know. I think spider will have to take her chances with something else.

Anyway, when we get home I guess there will be stew. Mmmm. Stew.

Yes, it's late. Heh.

I know some of you already heard me say this on the Twitch steam tonight, but I'm hoping to collect a picture of the troll that lives in Portland. I usually hunt dragons while I'm out walking or driving around town, but I've added trolls to my list because of an artist named Thomas Dambo who made six very nice ones and scattered them around the Pacific Northwest. I've decided I must collect them all. I've attached my picture of the first one I found, he's in front of the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard. I think there are more trolls around the World, but these are the ones within my reach. The piece overall is called the Way of the Bird King. I'm looking forward to visiting them all, and this trip to Portland is a great chance to get the farthest one out of the way!
