Girl Genius Comic for Friday, September 29, 2023

Well, this is my fault, because I pointed out to Phil that we need to prioritize these countdown dice calendar pictures before the holiday season gets into full swing if the folks over at PipsMountain.com hope to actually sell any. So Friday's page here is actually just an example of the one Cheyenne finished yesterday, and he's now busy coloring the last one. We'll get back to the story on Monday.

These aren't specifically advent calendars, although they can be used that way, they can be used to count down to anything, really. Also, they're full of dice, or "shiny math rocks" as Pip calls them.

I should point out that although the last two listings on Pip's dropdown are listed as "sold out" I think that's just because they're waiting to actually have the color artwork in hand. I don't think it's actually sold out.

Ok, I'm off to get back to work! I just realized I should get some of our seasonal stuff posted on RedBubble before it's too late again. This happens every year.

Oh, and I've included the Mechanicsburg Guild of Monsters' annual meeting and cake fry, and a drawing of a cat warrior doing what cats do best: interfering with someone's reading. Poor tiny lich king.

Thanks everyone!

Oh, we'd find SOMEWHERE to frame and put them. But us overseas guys just would not be able to cope with the stupidly ridiculous cost and postage cost... maybe Hi-res high-quality pdfs for printing for ONLY us overseas schlubs at, say, $US10-15, since we'd be printing them on the best quality paper and framing them???

I have reluctantly decided not to buy the dice calendars since I have no interest in the dice and the images are somewhat spoiled by the superimposed numbers and perforations. I would love it if the Foglios offered these images as high-resolution wallpapers, assuming they have reserved the rights to do that. They would make great posters, too, but I have no place to display them.
