Helpful god-queens are not always terribly helpful. Okay this was silly but we had fun.

For some reason a switch flipped in my head over the weekend, and I suddenly needed to know all the lore connected with the band Gorillaz. Why is this? I have no idea. I've known about Gorillaz since the first self-titled album and I do love Jamie Hewlett's art style, but until now I've mostly left the superfan stuff to Victor (Experiment #1). So I've been listening to the whole discography again. Yeah, it's still good. The lore is a bit of a chaotic mess, though. No worries it's fun.

I remember going to see the Tank Girl movie with a bunch of other comics folks back when it was out in theaters. Pity about that one, but at least the animated bits were amazing. The animation on the Gorillaz music videos is equally amazing, so much great movement.

Ok, I'd better get back to work!
