Well, here's Monday's page a bit earlier than usual, so hooray for that! We got all that silliness out of the way and surely nothing else goofy will ever happen again in our comics.

About those Seattle animals, I recently found out that we have something called a mountain beaver that lives in my neighborhood, and I've never seen one or even heard about them. They're ridiculously cute! I spent a lot of my childhood roaming the woods out in Duvall, on the East side of Lake Washington, so across the lake from Seattle, and I saw a lot of animals, but I didn't see any of these guys. Apparently they're nearly as elusive as Bigfoot, but here's the Wikipedia page to prove they exist. It's likely to be all the proof I'll ever get. I'm delighted that there's still so much to find out.

Well anyway, have a good weekend! I'm going to steal some of Phil's spaghetti sauce and make a lasagne as soon as I can get him to go to the store and get me some ricotta cheese. I suspect if I tell him that he'll go right away.
