Girl Genius Comic for Monday, February 20, 2023

Surprise! I'm still kind of ahead with the lettering. So welcome to Monday, everyone! Just kidding, you didn't oversleep, you still have your whole weekend ahead of you, I hope it's a good one.

I plan to continue packing Kickstarter stuff with breaks to attempt some kind of coping with what I believe the kids would call my "depression closet." I can't get to the doors, there's too much stuff I haven't put away properly from last Summer's San Diego ComicCon (at least it's all clean) mixed in with the big boxes computer equipment came in that I need to store in the attic so that I have them when I need to transport the stuff. Aspects of my life are kind of a wreck.

Still, it feels good to slowly tackle it all.

Phil is currently at an academic conference down in Utah, where it turns out he is literally about fifteen minutes from Evermore Park and I am dying of envy. I want to see that place SO MUCH. Yes, even after watching Jenny Nicholson talk about it for almost four hours. Actually, I'd never heard of Evermore Park before watching her video about it, so she's the whole reason I want to see it in the first place. Phil is pretty busy at the conference, so he isn't even planning to go and he thinks I'm nuts but I say it sounds like something that must be experienced for Science.

Here's the Jenny Nicholson YouTube video about Evermore Park if you want something to have on while you're doing something else (it's long, but really interesting.)

See you all when I've got colors, and thanks again!

In face of the danger to make you more envious: Google "Kulturinsel Einsiedel". A place I disoveed last year. Every step I discoverd soemthing new. traveling from one treehouse to the next or in the underground tunnels.

One has the feeling that the Von Mechan family would have arranged for some of those writings to end up in the library of Castle Heterodyne. Can’t imagine the Heterodynes doing their own documentation for their forebears (it’s a chore) but I doubt they’d waste it if it could be secured.
