It turns out the cover templates the printer gave me were samples, and not the actual ones I needed for this specific job, so now I have to retool the covers for Sparks and Monsters. On the bright side, the new printers are really nice and answer questions right away, so they're good to work with.

Phil and I took our Kenpo blue belt test on Saturday, and we passed and everything. Now we can smack each other with slightly more confidence! Because we're now doing classes over Zoom, the whole thing feels a bit odd. We have had to put aside our staff lessons completely for the time being since we can't really fling a bo around the studio. We can still go out in the backyard and only knock over a few flowerpots, but this time of year in the Pacific Northwest the patios tend to get a bit slippery from all the wet moss, so we haven't been doing it much. It's too bad, I absolutely love it.

Tomorrow is Wolfenoot! I'm going to take some time off working on BackerKit and make a moon-shaped cake, and some kind of special small treat for Dog, who is recovering nicely. Here's to a wonderful week for all of us!
