Chapter 72: The Real Darkness
It had to end.
I still can’t believe that she promised me more if I went out into town and looked for Mal. She still isn’t back from whatever errand she was doing in town, and that’s pretty weird. She would have been back by now. Ah. It’s probably nothing. She’s more than likely held up somewhere at a shop or something.
Michael shrugged his shoulders and headed outside. Searching for Maleva
Now a wolfman, Michael could run pretty fast. So fast that he was able to make it around town in only a few minutes despite that, he still hadn’t seen Maleva anywhere, which was pretty odd, to say the least.
That didn’t mean that Michael/Hunter was about to give up anytime soon.
I need to find her. Otherwise, I might not be able to do anything with Aurora later on. Come on, Michael. Where is she? You’ve got to find her! The hunter thought to himself as he took a deep breath as stood at the center of the main street of Cherry Wood before going at it again and scouting the entire village once more. Rechecking everywhere he had already checked.
…
However, right before he could get going once more, the Hunter couldn’t help but feel observed from a certain distance while standing on the main street.
A shadowy silhouette lurked not too far from him.
As soon as he laid his eyes on it, he knew this was a bad sign. Something up. Where did Maleva go? This wasn’t normal, at all. And now, this dark silhouette showed up in the middle of this crowd in town. Staring at him.
Wait a second. Who’s that?
…
“Hey! Who are you?” Michael didn’t wait that long before heading toward the dark and cloaked silhouette at the center of the crowd and calling them out.
“You’ve made a big mistake by taking the wolf blade…” All of a sudden, a dark voice was heard. The somber voice perfectly fit the shadowy silhouette. However, there was only one little problem… That dark voice resonated deep in his mind. Michael felt like he could hear it in his head.
“You know about the sword?”
“It’s too late now. We are already here, and you won’t be able to stop us, Hunter,” this dark individual knew who they were.
“You know who I am? Wait a minute. Do you know where Mal is?” Michael was utterly and completely in confrontation mode. He was about to rush at the dark silhouette and tackle them when the shadow individual suddenly lifted their right arm in the air. Their index finger directly pointed at a very specific place in town—the clockwork tower at the center of the play area of the park—that was where Maleva was. She was chained to the clock at the top of the tower.
“Mal!”
What have they done to her?
Michael was in full-blown panic mode.
He immediately rushed to the cloaked person in the crowd. Less than interested in beating around the bushes and listening to whatever this intruder had to say, Hunter straight-up punched them in the face.
“Free her now!”
Pretty certain that he had knocked them real good, it turned out that whoever was inside the dark cloak dissipated and vanished into thin air. Only leaving the cloak to softly fly in the wind after his attack. The person was already gone.
What is that all about? Where are they? He asked himself as he watched the cloak flying in the air in slow-motion.
“I can’t free her now. You’ll have to give me the wolf blade first,” the voice came back to haunt him. This time around, the voice was more seducing and feminine than ever before. The voice came from behind him.
Michael slowly looked over his shoulder—and witnessed that the person who recently slipped out of the cloak was a woman he had never seen before. Someone who was certainly not from around here. The woman was perhaps the tallest he had ever seen in his entire life. Taller than Maleva, Marsha, and Aurora. She had pale skin. Brown eyes. She was a brunette. Her long dark brown hair could occasionally even look jet-black from certain angles, especially the original straight-view angle of her he first saw her in when she first mystically slipped out of the dark cloak she used to wear mere seconds ago.
This mysterious woman showed herself to Michael in a black leather outfit. One could have considered this strange outfit to be some kind of armour, and it was, but it was also much more than just that.
It was a ritualistic outfit.
This suit of armour had a purpose. Ironically, no matter how functional it was, it was still pretty revealing at the same time. The leather armor revealed a lot of cleavage. To be fair, the outfit didn’t do much to cover her large breasts, which once again shocked Redheart to see another lady with huge tits beyond all the other ones he had already met and since then had been integrated into his wolf pack.
This wasn’t all, as the rest of the body of this mysterious woman was just as real and thick as her breasts. She had a giant and boxy ass. Thick and towering thighs. A muscular stomach. She was built like a living Goddess, walking the main street of Cherry Wood.
“Who the heck are you supposed to be?” Michael soon asked after he was done drooling upon witnessing slipping out of the dark and somber cloak.
“Your worse nightmare.”
“I—I don’t think so. You look more like my best dream ever,” he tried correcting her.
“So, you’re the one who stole my wolf blade?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Liar. Give it back to me right now. It doesn’t belong to you,” the seducing tone of the mysterious woman suddenly shifted into something more sinister and threatening.
“We found it. It’s not yours to keep,” he shut her down.
“Then, you shall not have your girlfriend back,” the dark and mysterious woman threatened him.
“What? What are you talking about? I didn’t mean that.”
“It’s too late.”
In a split second, the mysterious woman vanished in a gust of wind, and so did Maleva.
