Raruurien Funds and Expenses (Jan-Feb 2018)

Thank you for your patronage! Here it is, our third funds and expenses report. 

I started becoming a patron of Stephan & Hunter I've been a fan of their works since few years ago. So I'm really glad to be their patron.

I bought more reference books!

• Planet Earth and the Universe
  Another reference book for background and environment. This 167 pages book is filled with info-graphics about the essential facts and a wealth of wide-raging information on the Earth, the Solar System and the Universe.
• Great Ages of Man book series: Age of Exploration and Cradle of Civilization
  I wish I could buy all the 21 complete books of this series but knowing that my bookshelf is already overflow, I just pick two that I think I'll need most. I like the Age of Exploration book. It covers history about maps, navigation, and ships. My other comic Varnair is an adventure story where the characters travel around the world and this book will sure help me as reference.
• Life Among Incas
  I bought this book because it's about Inca Empire. I mean, it's a really interesting ancient civilization to study. Anyone would be curious the first time they see a picture of Machu Picchu.
• Tradisi Tenun Ikat Nusantara
  It's about woven fabric in Indonesia. Haven't read this book yet.
• Traits De Famille
  It's Thomas Romain's artbook. It filled with his son's drawings that he redraw and turn them into cool character designs. What a magical things to do. Sadly, this book is in france :< I don't understand the description of each design.
• The Challenge of Africa
  I bought this one for culture study.

Guess what? I just got back from Big Bad Wolf Book Sale yesterday. It's an annual import book bazaar with 60-80% discount. I bought 7 big reference books *v* but since I used the fund from March, I'll review them on the next Fund and Expenses report.

Future expenses:  

• More merchandise? We tried wooden keychain. I'm thinking about pillow plushies and stickers.
• I'll make a new proper working space. Will need a lot of fund for that. Hmm... new working table and PC upgrade.

You are probably wondering why did I make this report. I just want to be transparent about where the fund goes and I want to make sure to spend it mostly for the development of Raruurien webcomic project.
