Loopholes Podcast Episode 10

We reach the landmark Episode 10 of Loopholes today, which is certainly cause for celebration.
It's always rather an odd moment for me to reach Episode 10, as that was - for the most part - the culmination of a series in my history. I still certainly have a tendency towards self-contained, but that needs to be a consideration from the off. I think with Reboot and Loopholes, I started both with the intention of seeing what they felt like when they got a few episodes in. With both it feels like they are paced to run longer than ten episodes. Reboot hit 23 this week, and with the Loopholes Extra episodes this one is technically at 12. All good work I believe, and whilst they are ever-evolving, they both have a nice identity to them, which is all you can wish for as a producer.
The responses and interaction with Loopholes have been really appreciated and - quite frankly - excellent. In this week's episode we discuss Kate's TV show, finally get round to talking about Leslie Flint/Billy Chutney, but also again afford the comments and messages a big chunk of time, prompted by last week's episode about ghost hunting kit/toys. It was ace to give them a non-rushed platform.
Hopefully it'll be a nice long-form listen that you can have a sit down with, and get a break from the day.

Could you go through known ghost hoaxes and explain how they were debunked as in what techniques or technology? Has anything been disproved decades later?
2022-10-11 20:35:16 +0000 UTCOften times ghost hunting kit comes down to, "I got this device I don't fully understand, broke it a bit, and use it in a way in which it was never intended to be used. Now the spooky thing is, it doesn't always work right."
