New levels of creativity - 360° camera

I have recently invested in some new equipment to up the game a bit, mostly clips, mounts and all manor of toys to fix camera's to things, but the biggest and most impactful investment is an Insta360 X5 camera.
I've wanted one of these for a long time but held off, assuming it would only get gimmicky clips and would barely come out to play, kind of unfeasable.
But my next "big adventure" is hopefully to a place where drone's are not allowed 😉 so that made buying one that bit more appealing, so I bit the bullet and hot damn was it worth it!
This camera is revolutionising the kind of footage I am able to capture.

Because it films in 360° it allows for post-filming editing.
I can re-run any given footage and any point as many times as I wish, and by moving the physical camera, It will pan, tilt and zoom the footage as if you did it at the time of recording. if you mess up you just rewind and go again! This may not sound like a lot but to me this is something that with some outside-the-box thinking can achieve some absolutely mental footage.

The attached teaser clip is one of those. This is a time lapse of over 1000 photos I took the other night as a storm cloud fought to breach the mountain top. they are static photos.

Once compiled and rendered, I moved the camera to achieve a panning Timelapse.

I'm getting really excited to stretch this thing's legs, and the next video that is almost done has it's debut footage. I think you'll know pretty quickly what point that is.
