End of a Road - Broken Up: Finale

Our day starts with people flying past the pod windows, and I spent the morning getting the first episode of this series finished, before setting off to the last planned destination of the trip, the location of a very famous movie cliff hanger I'm sure almost all of you will know.
For me it was a bit of a pilgrimage, as the film in question has had a lot of influence on my life and love of classic cars.
But from there, that's it. It's time to end the trip and head for the border... but I decided given the route we were on, to drop into one last old park up to reflect on this trip as a whole, as well as how far me, the van and the dog have all come since we were last there.
I'm not really sure how to feel about the end of this series, I have been working on it for 6 months now and have been so ready for it to be over, but now it's here I'm not sure what to do with myself 😆 I've pulled some crazy late nighters over the past 2 weeks to get it out before my return sail for Xmas, and as you watch this I'll be out somewhere in the Atlantic, but I really hope you enjoy in my absence. More over I hope you've been able to take something away from this, at times, difficult period & story.
This marks the end of 2024 for me work wise, January will be my downtime and Patreon has once again been paused as I catch up with family & friends, and get a plan formulated for 2025.

Ad have given you my lwb sprinter 2014 if were still in the uk since a bought a ex asda 19 plate to convert into a camper once a find the right body then take what a need out the old one before a bin it!

It's not the finding yourself trip like you've done, but after the year I've had, I can't wait to get up there again in the clear air with all of those views to take in 😊 Maybe a bit far off for planning yet, but you might want to get spain 2026 on your calendar. There's a total eclipse happening in August which should be a good experience. Have a good christmas and new year!

Storytelling, drama, tear jerking, poignant moments, comedy, mechanical how-to's, nerdy interludes, the scenery... oh gosh the scenery, your furry little friend who is always best supporting role.... honestly, you're right at the top of your game. Sorry for the gushing but it's that good and you should hear it. I cannot imagine how hard this project must have been for you to soldier on with at times, I'm a great believer in "it's always darkest before the dawn" and the downs give context to the ups which will feel all the sweeter in future when they occur... and they will occur. Enjoy your time off, you've earned it, as soon as you're ready, we'll be here. And Lance has definitely come along way .it's horrible seeing pets show their age or issues my jack Russell is 13 now but still has her man 5 mins jumping and everything but she now has steps to get on the bed as she can't jump that high anymore. But I'm glad I found your channel years ago and have enjoyed watching every video and will continue to watch and support you on the next videos
