Damn, this is such a fun movie. It's been a while since I've watched it! There was a lot I forgot about, especially the farmhouse scene! Such a good mix of action, laughs and feels. As for the ending, my personal headcanon is that in its dying moments, the Omega reset the day per its standard function. Since it retains its cognitive state from each loop, it basically came back braindead, and Cage was aware of the reset thanks to its blood. I'm vaguely certain it didn't play out like that in the Japanese light novel this was based on, but whatever. Those two earned their happy ending. I'll take it. 😎 Glad you had fun, Cody!
