I definitely think you should watch and react to the show Cody but only if you're up for it of course! The movie had it's issues and is not linked to the show at all but still enjoyable overall. The show isn't a musical and is personally one of my favorites and I can see you in the future really enjoying the character of Adrien if you watch the show. PS, Plagg does not fart in the show. I have no idea why they even decided to include that in the movie.
