The sailor mouth episode came out a few days after 9/11. My mom, who normally hated spongebob, found herself laughing hysterically. She needed it after spending a few days seeing nothing but sadness.

Another fact is that there is some scenes that were originally cut such as Patrick saying โCome on SpongeBobโ, viewers believed Patrick was unhooking Sandyโs bra when he wasnโt and another scene that was originally cut was the drag race scene SpongeBob imagined, viewers believed kids were gonna imitate which no one didnโt, they were brought back in October 2019
