I'm so glad I finally could join the Patreon to enjoy this journey with you. This show is one of my favorites. Even though I also love Ted, Robin and Lily, my two favorites are Marshall and Barney too. Also, the sword fight between Marshall and Ted is definitely in my top 5 moments from season 1, that just look so fun, when there's no casualties of course x) And never forget "Volunteer of the YEEEAARR !" 😂

He’s a toxic womanizer but he’s so damm chaotic and hilarious that sometimes it makes you overlook his less like-able qualities. Plus his character arc is one I relate to so much and you’ll get to see it down the line. Also as someone else also pointed out, Marshall’s dad is none other than Patrick Star himself! My mind was blown when I was younger after finding out they’re one in the same 🤣

He was also Bill from a show called Freaks and Geeks, you would probably like that show, it’s got one season but, has so many big names in it before they were famous and has great episodes.

I was anticipating you would recognize Marshall’s dad, but I realized he didn’t have much of a speaking role really in the last episode, but he’s played by Bill Fagerbakke, who is the voice of Patrick Star in SpongeBob SquarePants

For the time when this was made, the props people generally went for the hetero-normative look, so it's nice to see that they gave it some real thought on who might go for matchmakers. My mom used to watch The Millionaire Matchmaker as a guilty pleasure, wealthy men wanting to "find true love." It was hilarious! If you ever want to dive down a trash chute for something just for fun (not necessarily to do a reaction), you should check out those absurd series like Rock of Love, or Flavor of Love. Really, truly awful, train wrecks you can't not see. Even worse than The Bachelor (I only saw half of one episode of that, and it was dull as dishwater for me, LOL.)
