2023-07-13 00:08:30 +0000 UTCIdk as much as Sharpay can be much at times I find myself being more upset at Troy or his ‘’friends’’. In the first movie they literally set Troy and Gabriella up and pit them against each other for their own selfish reasons. When Sharpay just didn’t want them to make a mockery of the theatre and it was never even there thing but theatre and performing was always Sharpays thing of course they could join but everyone thought they were mocking theatre. And in this one she literally got the entire crew jobs and was trying to give him a scholarship and help him with his future just so they could sing together, and Troy ’’ friends’’ were not being supportive at all and Troy was acting like a jerk to them as well. It just really doesn’t make sense, he’s more interested in the people that went behind his back and that he was a jerk to then his entire future? Where he most likely wont even see them because they most likely wont even go to the same college and they will all go there separate ways anyways? Sure Sharpay wasn’t the best or the nicest but I feel like if you really think about the rest were a lot worse to each other and were not nice at all. At least Sharpay was never fake or hiding behind her true intentions. Plus he promised to sing with her and never did. They set the whole thing up and screwed her over so that she thought she was going sing with him and said opp never mind not you, at her own award show. That’s so mean. And she still gave Ryan the award.
