I love your reaction, this show is hilarious. I don't know why that pastor tries to deny the big bang, a Catholic priest discovered it, plus it has been known and discussed pretty much since the beginning of the church that the Genesis creation story is meant to be understood metaphorically. A quote that I have heard many times though can't remember who said it. "The Bible tells us how to get to heaven not how the heavens go."

Georges Lemaitre, and his theory was initially discarded by the predominantly atheist science community, because it assumed an uiverse that has a starting point. Still, the examples used by pastor Jeff were (possibly intentionally) weak, considering Einstein was an agnostic at best, and Darwin fluctuated between being an agnostic and a deist (meaning he believed in a creator deity, but not in a deity that affects people's lives, thus excluding any belief in miracles). Making Sheldon even consider deism or agnosticism would be a huge step, but I don't think that's where he aimed at.

The nurse in the last episode was in the TBBT ep when Howard has that robot hand and she played a nurse in it too. The teacher who Sheldon accused of hygiene issues was in the Suite Life of Zack and Cody and I am soooo happy to see him in current things. Grew up with him dealing with Zack and Cody so you know Shelly wont be too difficult. Now, key thing going into this show this Sheldon hasn’t been taught by Leonard and Penny about sarcasm and better social cues. Missy and Meemaw though do help him get a foundation of those skills, but it still took Sheldon some time. The end episode we can see the beginning of why Sheldon doesn’t like hospitals. Like that episode where Leonard is getting his nose surgery, its possible Sheldon was thinking of the time his father was in the hospital. Cant wait to see you react to the rest of the season!!!
