2023-03-12 07:06:20 +0000 UTCAlthough I hate them broken up, these episodes really show how much Amy meant to Sheldon. Each episode is showing him trying to get over her (Amy, too with a bit more success) this is his first break up and he doesn't know how to handle it. Emotional stuff isn't where he has much experience..so though it hurts, their breaking up was the best thing for them because it allows Sheldon a chance to experience these emotions and grow as a person, so if they do get back together someday or if he finds someone new, he knows what it's like to be heartbroken and maybe he will try harder in the relationship so he never has to feel that way again.

Amy going on dates is impressive as before Sheldon she was only going on one date a year to make her mother happy. Sheβs grown as a person and its good to see her more confident. Sheldon well that episode with Leonard moving out shows heβs got a large learning curve to go through.
