2023-03-07 22:44:55 +0000 UTCSheldon in the alien video is perfect as he voiced an alien in Home. The next time Mary and Beverly interact is going to be great and makes for great comedy. Yes Sheldon and Leonard tend to put heads but their mothers are polar opposites which makes the fights electric and comical. Leonard while I’m glad Beverly is making efforts to be a good mom, sadly the damage has been done to Leonard. When he has a kid(s) he will most likely try not to be at all like her and may end up on the opposite end and overdue it. The last episode, Sheldon, I love the growth he’s done in his relationship with Amy but Amy’s speech does show he could’ve been moved more in the relationship. His progress was okay for him but he should’ve recognized that it wasn’t enough for Amy and maybe done some thing.

Sorry, I’m so heartbroken too, reliving those final moments of the season finale and couldn’t think of anything else to lighten you up a little bit. Everyone’s comments above got me going again. This is something this show is great at doing - get you laughing and enjoying all the funny moments, get you mildly upset at the show for writing in jokes into serious moments, and then throwing in a gut-wrenching twist that was the last thing you expected to happen and back it up with another, literally jaw-dropping twist in the last ten seconds. (I could see the finale was going in the direction of at least one emotional breakup by the end among Raj/Emily, Leonard/Penny, and Sheldon/Amy, and the latter was honestly the least expected for me!)

2023-03-03 21:26:03 +0000 UTCYes, you summed it up really well. Like someone else said, he thought he was fully committed to Amy. I think the main problem here, For Shamy, was communication. He isn't great at it. And even admitted that to Penny in that one episode where they tried the "fall in love with random person" experiment. Both need to get better at voicing their feelings with each other for things to work. Like when he said he was hurt she ruined Indiana Jones, ect. There needs to be more of that.

It's a fun show xD When you started Victorious, I was honestly waiting for you to get to this episode xD I love when Sheldon and Amy build a fort <3 Shamy's breakup has to be one of the hardest things in the show for me. For years we saw them grow, and Sheldon grow, and it's not just them who are breaking up, but the viewer is part of it as well. Like yes, I feel like this is for the best for them, have some time away from each other and work on themselves...but that doesn't mean it hurts any less. Imagine seeing this when it aired, and we had to wait months to see what happened after it...it drove me crazy. I remember bawling my eyes out.

2023-03-03 13:19:03 +0000 UTCThe sad part for me was that he wasn't actually struggling at all with the commitment issue of committing to Amy, but yet was having a conundrum about if he should watch a TV show. He already thought he was committed to her. My assumption was that he was going to propose on their anniversary since he had the ring, and she got mad at him before he had a chance. Can't wait to watch season 9!
