The next few episodes as Howard is handling his mother’s death is emotional and you can see the actors getting sad at a few moments as well. She must have been amazing to work with on set.

Penny getting so excited about anything Shamy is the best representation for us fans. I really want to read the rest of that fan fiction. And Penny telling Sheldon to open the door and then pull his pants up had such a mom tone to it you know she sees Sheldon as her child and its adorable. I totally forgot the episode Mrs. Wolowitz passed but as it had been a while since we heard her and then Howard mentioning she was away I remembered. It still hits hard. The idea someone takes a nap and just passes away its scary, kinda of nice because at least it was a peaceful death, but it just hits harder than you’d think. They handled her death very well and respectfully. If you decide on any future comedy shows i recommend 8 Simple Rules it is one of the first tv shows Kaley Cuoco starred in and another tv show where one of her costars passed away and they kept in the show. Its a great comedy show has David Spade, John Ritter, James Garner, and Kathy Sagal.

When the final episode with Mrs. Wolowitz aired, and my whole family watched it, both my mom and my sister screamed "NO!!!" All of us were shocked, and were in tears. She was a favourite part of the series, and her humour will always be remembered. RIP Carol-Ann Susi. Your voice will be the loud mother in all of us forever

One thing I love about this show is the parallels between Amy and Sheldon. When we first meet Amy, she isn't sure what goes on in "girl's night" nor what "girl talk" entails. Here we see Sheldon with a similar mindset. It's one of many parallels they have. the Mrs. Walowitz ending never fails to make me tear up. though she was only a voice, she was such a huge part of Howard's character.

The actress who played Mrs Wolowitz actually died, so they wrote it into the show. From this episode on, there is a small picture of her on the refrigerator in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment. If you look closely in the scene where they're toasting to her, you'll see a small pic on the fridge. That's the actress. When they cried in the show, they weren't acting, it was actually the actors grieving for her. It fit really well in that episode.

They could have kept Mrs Wallowitz around, even after the actress died. Bernie does the voice well. However, I am glad they chose not to, it is more respectful to the memory of Carol Ann Susie

it bugs me a little when howard says Leonard and him were best friends before raj came along. In Season 3 we find out that leonard met both howard and raj at the same time. lol
