An Apology
Added 2018-10-13 00:42:41 +0000 UTCI'm about to post a new piece after this, but I needed to say this and didn't want it clogging up the author's comment in that one. I just wanted to say, I'm sorry. I've really dropped the ball this month with updates. For those who've followed bits of my journals and updates, things have not been going well in my life. I'm pretty much all but laid off at work with little prospects in town. Then a family friend gives me a big heads up about an opening for a graphic design job that was opening up soon that she said I have a big chance of getting. So me, excited to possibly finally get a cushy job in the field I went to school for. So with the extra time I went into overload updating my "normal/professional" art for my portfolio, getting my business cards updated, getting my resume and Linkedin porfile fixed up, and after waiting all week...it hasn't posted yet.
This family friend says her hands are tied and that I just have to wait for the job ad to post on the site. And for someone who has been laid off with bills to pay...that waiting has been affecting my mentality in all the wrong ways, and has affected my art schedule.
I'm currently in the process of getting my shit together and I hope to do a lightning round of art updates over the weekend. I just wanted to explain my situation, and deeply apologize for letting it affect my art updates. Thanks for sticking with me guys, I'll get you some good art for the weekend, both what I've already promised and 1 personal piece I've been working on here and there.
