The Quarterly Rundown! Jan - Mar 2024

As always - please correct me of any glaring mistakes! This one took a heck of a long time because I decided to be really ambitious with the editing bits. One thing I love about editing my own videos is coming up with these ideas on the fly and working to put them in, including days of learning and forgetting :o)

ANYWAY - thumbnail yet to come. Thanks for your patience I love ya lots x x x x

as someone who doesn't use letterbox this is a great way for me to rifle through your virtual video collection so i'm loving this format, 11/10 on the outfit too Bouphe, you look like you should be draped on the sofa in Barbarella smoking essence of man through a bong with the other pretty pretties

Yep, really like this format. Good rundown and some interesting looking films I was unfamiliar with. In fact as I'm typing this I have a copy of The Hidden in my cart. I was thinking about Raiders recently actually, but in my case it was because I think it's the only decent Indy film (although I haven't seen the recent one). Jason Takes a Cruise also popped into my head recently, but while it has it's moments, it's no Jason Lives. I don't think you need any film recommendations, but I'll put in a general vote for more Cronenberg and Kon anyway.

This is great. I do really enjoy going to Letterboxd because there are always SO many new films you have seen and I could never catch up with all the reviews so this format is absolutely perfect!!! I honestly wasn't as aware of Letterboxd until you started mentioning it and my resolution this year wasn't as impressive as yours, it was to remember to log every film I see and so far so good. One day I could only dream of watching a film a day and follow on your example!!

Every time I log into Letterboxd and see your watchlist in my feed I get very intimidated by how much you've managed to watch compared to me (I think I've managed maybe one film this year? πŸ˜…) but I flippin loved this episode both as a hilarious, entertaining personal to you rundown and also how it's highlighted some proper left-field stuff I would've never otherwise thought to consider or even come across because it wouldn't get that much attention from mainstream film coverage. Love this format - I still enjoy the more singular focused episodes too of course, but for stuff that doesn't suit that or even just as a semi-regular thing, thumbs up all the way - big fan. Incredible work, as always.
