The team faces total annihilation. With most Rangers consumed, one of their own succumbs to fear, betraying his friends to save himself. The burgers use this cowardice to finish the job, trapping the team forever. Their twisted, screaming faces become part of the bloated monsters, whose laughter echoes endlessly over the broken festival.
How far would you go to stay off the menu?

Be the grill’s slut, Ranger!
The two grotesque burgers circled Kat, their towering, pulsating forms casting long, oppressive shadows across the ruined festival grounds. Their eyes—red, glowing onion rings—gleamed with sadistic delight. Kat's body stood unnaturally rigid, her limbs jerking as she struggled against the parasite’s control. Her tears streamed down her exposed face, mixing with the hissing slime that dripped from her mouth.
“Hmm... So many options!” The larger burger chuckled darkly, its howl deep and gurgling like a churning vat of boiling oil. “What should we do with you, Pink? Maybe… grind you down! Turn you into a nice, screaming garnish! We’ll smear your essence across every bun—your scream baked into every bite!”
“NOOO!” Kat shrieked, her tone breaking into a gurgling wail. “DON’T—PLEASE! I CAN’T... I CAN’T TAKE IT!”
The burger cackled louder, its grotesque bun-maw snapping open and shut with each laugh. Tommy’s heart pounded in his chest as he watched helplessly. “Let her go, you freaks!” he bellowed, raising his sword.
“Let her go?” the second burger taunted, bouncing in front of Tommy to block him. “Oh, that’s funny! We’re not done yet! Maybe instead of grinding her, we should spice her up! Yeah... pepper her to death! Coat her in a fire-spice rub, make every nerve sting and blister! Imagine her skin sizzling as the heat crawls inside!”
Kat’s body convulsed violently, her eyes wide with terror. She gasped through acid-coated breaths, shaking her head desperately.
“NO! IT HURTS! IT’S—IT’S BURNING! HELP ME!”
“Kat, stay with me!” Tommy shouted, stepping forward, but the first burger stopped him again, slamming the ground with enough force to send shockwaves rippling outward. Tommy stumbled, his grip faltering.
“Oh-ho, don’t be rude, Red!” the larger burger sneered. “Let us finish our options. What do you think about... onion entanglement? Wrap her up in crispy onion strips—each one cutting deeper with every twitch! She’ll crisp and fry beautifully!”
Kat gagged hard, violent spasms overtaking her body. Her jaw twitched as though she were trying to scream again but couldn’t. Her lips quivered, and another stream of acid slime hissed from her mouth.
“PLEASE! I—I CAN’T BREATHE! IT’S IN ME!” she choked.
Tommy lunged forward, teeth clenched. “You bastards—get away from her!” He swung his sword, but the second burger dodged easily, bouncing mockingly just out of reach.
“Crispy onions not your thing, huh?” the second monster teased. “Fine. How about... bacon tendrils! Imagine thousands of sizzling strips twisting around her body, pulling and tearing her limb from limb!”
“AAAARGHHH! NOOO!” Kat shrieked, her body twisting violently in place as though the monsters’ words were physically ripping through her. Her twitching eyes locked onto Tommy again. “STOP THEM! IT’S—IT’S TEARING ME APART!”
“Kat... I—” Tommy stammered, his voice cracking. He couldn’t think. He couldn’t fight. Every step forward felt like dragging a mountain of regret behind him.
“Oh, poor Red,” the larger burger mocked. “Feeling a little slow? A little... useless?”
Adam's distorted voice rang out from within the flesh of the patties. “You left me, Tommy... You left all of us...”
“You let them break us,” Rocky’s voice followed, twisting with gurgling agony. “I can still... feel it... burning through me!”
“MAKE IT STOP!” Tanya’s scream echoed, raw and hoarse. “IT’S STILL... PRESSING—PRESSING ME INTO NOTHING!”
“NO! NO! STOP IT!” Tommy roared, grabbing his head as the voices overwhelmed him. He stumbled, gasping for air, his vision blurring from tears.
Kat’s body jerked again, the pickle tendrils pulsing violently. Her mouth opened in a silent scream, her eyes rolling back as fresh streams of tears mixed with the acidic slime on her face. “TOMMY! KILL ME—I CAN’T TAKE IT—THEY’RE GRINDING ME!!!”
The larger burger shuddered with delight. “Ooooh, I like that! Grinding her does sound delicious, doesn’t it? Just picture her bones snapping, her flesh turning to a perfect pink paste...”
Kat collapsed to her knees, her mouth gaping as though she were still screaming, though all that came out were wet gurgles.
“NOOO...! PLEASE... NO MORE!”
Tommy could barely hear her now. The world around him felt like a nightmare of grease and screams, every sound merging into a hellish cacophony.
“MAKE YOUR CHOICE, RED!” the second burger bellowed. “OR WE’LL MAKE IT FOR YOU! SHE’S OURS NOW... JUST LIKE THE OTHERS!”
The burgers bounced in place, shaking the entire ground beneath them. Kat’s eyes twitched, tears still flowing as she trembled uncontrollably.
“Tommy...” she whispered faintly, her tone cracking into a pitiful sob. "Please..."
Kat writhed under the pickle parasite's control, her movements jerky and mechanical. Tears poured down her exposed, terror-filled face as the monsters’ howls echoed like demonic laughter across the ruined festival grounds.
“WE’VE GOT SOMETHING BETTER THAN GRINDING!” the largest burger announced with sadistic glee. “HOW ABOUT... A NICE, ONION MELT! LET’S BURST HER APART WITH FLAVOR!”
The second burger cackled, its massive bun-maw snapping open as it oozed steaming grease. "OH YEAH, LET'S COAT HER IN OUR SIGNATURE SPRAY! LAYER HER SCREAMS INTO THE SAUCE—OOOH, SHE'S GONNA MAKE THIS BURGER POP!"
Kat’s eyes widened in renewed horror. “NO...! NOOOO! PLEASE—DON’T—DON’T DO THIS!”
“LEAVE HER ALONE!” Tommy roared, scrambling to his feet. He raised his Power Sword, but his arms shook uncontrollably. He was barely standing, his strength rapidly fading from exhaustion and terror. Every agonizing scream from his lost teammates pounded in his skull, leaving him almost paralyzed with guilt.
“LET HER GO! SHE’S DONE NOTHING TO YOU!” he shouted hoarsely, but the monsters didn’t stop. The largest burger bounced forward, sending a shockwave through the ground that knocked him onto his back.
“SHE’S DONE EVERYTHING FOR US NOW!” it mocked. “AND YOU—YOU GET TO WATCH! OH, THIS IS GOING TO BE JUICY!”
The patty core of both burgers began to pulse and swell grotesquely. From within their flesh, distorted faces twisted in agony. Kat could hear Adam’s, Rocky’s, and Tanya’s screams growing louder, as if they were being dragged through hellfire. Her body convulsed violently in response, her limbs jerking as the parasite forced her to stand straight.
“CAN’T... CAN’T... MOVE!” she gasped, her head twisting uncontrollably. Her twitching eyes locked onto Tommy for a fleeting moment. “PLEASE... HELP ME! THEY’RE... THEY’RE GONNA—”
She didn’t finish. A horrid hiss filled the air as the monsters expelled a burst of searing onion haze, thick and suffocating. The yellowish mist exploded outward in a scalding wave, coating Kat from head to toe.
“AAAAAAAAAAH!” she shrieked, her scream cracking into inhuman pitches. Her arms shot into the air, trembling violently as the onion haze engulfed her. The acidic spray bubbled on her armor, sizzling like boiling grease.
“YESSS! KEEP SCREAMING!” the second burger howled in delight. “ONIONS GOT YOU GOOD, HUH? MELT, BABY!"
Kat’s body stiffened, her muscles locking as the haze of acid and vapor engulfed her. She arched violently, her head snapping upward, mouth open in a silent gasp. Every nerve burned with something beyond pain—it was like her flesh was unraveling, dissolving and reforming at the same time. Her eyes widened as her mind scrambled to comprehend the unbearable sensations.
“OH—OH GOD, IT’S TWISTING ME!” she screamed, her voice cracking into a desperate, ragged wail. “I—IT WON’T STOP!”
Her arms flailed, jerking like puppet strings were pulling them in different directions. The mist coiled around her limbs, warping her armor until it sagged like soft wax. She clutched at her torso, her hands sliding over the warped, sticky surface of her disintegrating armor.
“IT'S INSIDE MY BONES!” Kat’s shrill scream echoed across the ruined grounds. She clawed at her throat, gasping as the slimy haze filled her lungs. "I CAN'T... BREATHE!”
“Look at her,” one burger sneered, bouncing in place. “Such a lovely mess! Let’s melt her piece by piece—watch her fall apart.”
Kat lurched forward, her legs buckling as if every joint had failed at once. Grease pooled around her knees, bubbling with acidic heat. Her thighs trembled as a horrid pressure built within them, as if something was pressing from the inside, ready to burst her apart.
“STOP IT! MY LEGS... I CAN FEEL THEM—SPREADING—BREAKING!”
"Beautiful," the second burger hissed gleefully. "She’s falling into the sauce just perfectly."
Kat’s fingernails scraped the ground as she tried to push herself up. Her armor demolished further, chunks dropping to the grease-soaked floor. Her fingers spasmed, the sensation of her hands shifting and liquefying beneath her skin sending shudders through her entire body.
“NO! I’M—MELTING... MELTING INSIDE ME! I CAN’T FEEL... ANYTHING BUT THIS—THIS PAIN!”
"Kat! I'm here! Just hold on!" Tommy yelled, tone shaking as he stumbled toward her. His mind was reeling, drowning in shock and panic. He felt as though he were suffocating on her pain, her desperate wails slicing through his thoughts like jagged glass.
But Kat wasn’t listening. Her head jerked violently, her mouth trembling as thick, bubbling slime spilled from her lips. Her eyes rolled back, her entire body convulsing under the unbearable torment.
"PLEASE—IT’S EVERYWHERE!" she wailed, her voice dissolving into wild incoherent screeches. Her torso buckled as the mist crawled across her abdomen, tightening like a living noose.
"CAN’T MOVE—WHY DOES IT KEEP GOING?!!!"
The burgers surrounded her now, their mocking laughter deafening.
“She’s almost there, Red!” one taunted. “Every inch of her’s gonna be sauce! Just watch her sink into it—perfectly seasoned terror!”
Tommy staggered to his knees, shaking violently as Kat’s agonized voice drilled into his mind. “NO, KAT! I—You’re not gone! I’m going to get you out of this!” He screamed at the top of his lungs, but his words felt hollow, broken.
Kat’s twitching face turned toward him. For a moment, he saw the depth of terror in her glassy, tear-filled eyes. Her lips parted, and she tried to speak—but all that came out was a wet gurgle.
“TOMMY... HELP... PLEASE...” she choked, her voice faint and mangled by pain.
The mist thickened, swirling around her body like ghostly tendrils, sinking deep into her pores. Her skin blistered, turning slick and pink as pulsating bubbles formed across her limbs. Kat’s body twisted unnaturally, her legs locking into a grotesque, rigid stance.
“IT’S MELTING EVERYTHING! I’M... DISSOLVING!!!”
“NOOOOO!!! IT’S MELTING INSIDE ME!!!” Kat wailed, her screams escalating into a horrifying crescendo. The acidic mist filled her lungs, cutting off her air as she gagged violently, slime pouring from her lips.
Her twisted body convulsed, her mouth opening in an inhuman, final scream. It began as a raw, high-pitched shriek, climbing higher and higher until it became an ear-splitting screech of agony. Her eyes rolled back, her mouth frozen wide, yet the sound never stopped.
“IT WON’T STOP—TOMMYYYY!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!”
The haze thickened around her, encasing her like a swirling prison of death. Her arms twitched one last time, reaching upward before her entire body collapsed into a bubbling pool of pink mush. Sizzling grease hissed as her liquefied remains were absorbed into the ground.
Her armor crumbled away completely, leaving only her empty Pink Ranger helmet, cracked and smeared with slime, tumbling slowly across the broken earth. It rolled toward Tommy, stopping at his feet with a soft clatter.
Tommy stood frozen in shock, his eyes locked on the helmet. His mind shattered as Kat’s final, deafening scream echoed endlessly in his thoughts. The distorted screams of Adam, Tanya, and Rocky joined in, blending into a horrific chorus that overwhelmed him completely.
“She’s gone... they’re all gone...” Tommy whispered, his tone hollow and trembling. His knees buckled, and he collapsed onto the ground.
“Look at you... broken... helpless...” the second burger sneered, towering over him with gleaming eyes. "SHE’S PART OF US NOW—FOREVER!”
“Her screams are part of the sauce... and you’ll join her next, Red!” the first burger roared.
“Tommy... hurts...” Kat’s distorted howl echoed faintly from within the pulsating patty cores. “Still here... forever..."
“NO! KAT—NOOO!!!” Tommy screamed, his voice cracking as he clutched his head, rocking back and forth on his knees. He couldn’t shut out their tones—the screams pounded through his skull like endless torture.
The burgers laughed in unison, their massive jaws snapping as they slowly closed in on him. The ground shook beneath their combined weight, pools of grease bubbling ominously around their feet.
“YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO RUN... NOWHERE TO HIDE!” they taunted. “THIS IS YOUR END, RED!”
The air thickened with suffocating heat as Tommy stared at Kat’s fallen helmet, his mind spiraling into utter madness. His vision blurred as the world became nothing but screams and shadows. The monsters loomed over him, their laughter deafening as they prepared for the final strike.
Tommy was alone, broken, and surrounded by living nightmares. He knew now that there was no escape... and no hope left.
***
Zeo Ranger Red’s entire body locked when Kat’s helmet rolled to his feet, its visor shattered, covered in slime and grease. His face twisted in a mix of horror and numb disbelief as he stared at it. His ears rang, every distant, muffled sound drowned out by the final screech of Kat’s voice, still echoing mercilessly in his mind.
His guts twisted, the terror clawing at his insides like a living thing. His mouth opened, but no sound came out. Warm liquid trickled down his leg as his body betrayed him completely. He staggered back, gasping, unable to comprehend the crushing reality that everyone was gone. His mind was a broken mirror, each shard of thought reflecting their final screams.
"Tommy... hurts..." Kat’s voice echoed faintly, gurgling from deep within the pulsating meat of the monstrous burgers.
“Still here... forever...”
“No more... I—I don’t... want to be next...” Tommy mumbled under his breath, his words barely coherent. His entire frame shook, and his eyes darted wildly between the monstrous pulsating forms, knowing the inevitable was closing in on him.
Tommy’s mind fractured into a million jagged pieces. Kat’s final screech echoed endlessly in his skull, mingling with the agonized screams of Adam, Tanya, and Rocky—all trapped, their tones tearing through his psyche like claws. His breath hitched, and he shook uncontrollably, clutching his head.
"I... I didn’t want this... I never wanted this!" Tommy muttered in a voice that wasn’t his own, trembling on his knees. "I don’t want to die... I don’t want to... join them!"
The laughter of the monstrous burgers roared louder in his ears, their tones mocking and cruel.
"IS THIS THE RED RANGER?!" the largest burger sneered. "LOOK AT HIM—CAN'T EVEN STAND PROUD!"
“HE STINKS OF FEAR... A PATHETIC COWARD!” the second cackled. "NO MORE HERO! JUST... MEAT WAITING FOR THE GRILL!"
Tommy quivered, his breath coming in shallow gasps. He didn’t care anymore. Heroism, pride, duty—none of it mattered. All that mattered was survival. He’d seen what the burgers could do, how they’d reduced his team to screaming, eternal prisoners. He wouldn’t end up like that. He couldn’t.
“YOU’RE THE STRONG ONE, AREN’T YOU?! THE MIGHTY RED RANGER?” the first burger bellowed, bouncing in front of him.
“THE ONE THEY LOOKED UP TO... NOW LOOK AT YOU!” the second burger sneered, dripping grease and malice from its maw. "ALONE... BROKEN... TRAPPED LIKE A RAT!"
Tommy screamed incoherently, grabbing his sword—the weapon that had failed to protect any of them. His eyes darted wildly, seeing ghostly, flickering images of his teammates in every corner of his mind.
“You were supposed to save us, Tommy!” Adam’s voice hissed in bitter rage.
"Why couldn't you fight harder?!" Tanya’s gurgling voice added.
"Tommy... why'd you let this happen?!" Rocky’s voice, filled with sorrow, cut through.
“Tommy... hurts...” Adam’s voice joined in now, twisted in torment. “You let us fall...”
“Why... why couldn't you save us?!” Tanya’s voice gurgled, cutting like a knife.
"SHUT UP!" Tommy bellowed, clutching his head as though he could crush the voices out of existence. " I... I couldn’t... I tried!"
"STOP IT!" Tommy shrieked, his howl cracking into a sob. He dropped his Power Sword with a loud clatter, stumbling backward. His heart pounded as terror squeezed the air from his lungs.
His thoughts turned cold and desperate, survival instincts overriding any sense of honor or loyalty. The images of his screaming friends, of Kat melting into pink mush, haunted him relentlessly. He could still see their faces in the pulsating patties, twisted and begging for mercy."You’re next, Tommy..."
The voices merged, haunting and suffocating, crushing any sense of control he had left.
"No... No, no, no..." Tommy muttered under his breath, his words slurred and broken. He stumbled again, falling onto one hand, gasping for air. The stench of molten grease filled his nose, making him gag as panic threatened to consume him entirely.
His mind screamed for a plan. Fight? Run? But neither option seemed possible. He couldn’t outrun them—he could barely stand. His weapon felt like dead weight, useless in the face of monsters that had already destroyed everything. His teammates were gone, trapped in eternal torment, and he was about to join them. "They’ll kill me... they’ll eat me alive... I’ll scream forever like the others..."
“If I fight... I’ll end up just like them...” he whispered, his breath hitching. "There’s no... no hope for them. If I die too... what’s the point?"
The realization struck him like a hammer to the chest. There was no camaraderie here. No team. No one was going to save him. The only way to survive was to abandon everything—his mission, his team, his pride. Cowardice was his only option now.
"I... I don’t want to die!" he whispered. His knees buckled, and he fell into a broken heap, shuddering with pure panic. "I—I can’t... I can’t go with you. I don’t want to be... part of you..."
The burgers stopped for a moment, watching him curiously. Their gigantic, pulsating forms shifted like grotesque towers of meat, their glowing eyes narrowing.
"WHAT’S THIS?" the first monster growled in mock confusion. "IS THE MIGHTY RED RANGER... BEGGING FOR MERCY?"
Tommy stumbled to his feet, his legs shaking violently. His mind raced in a frenzy. He needed a way out—any way out. His pride, his duty, all the things that once defined him as a leader... none of it mattered anymore.
"I... I’ll do whatever you want!" he gasped. His voice came out broke and pathetic. "I—I’ll entertain you! Just... please don’t kill me!"
The burgers froze for a moment, then burst into booming laughter.
“YOU WANT TO ENTERTAIN US?!” the second burger howled. “OH, THIS IS RICH! THE GREAT RED RANGER... WHAT WILL YOU DO? JUGGLE? DANCE FOR YOUR LIFE?!”
Tommy’s eyes twitched uncontrollably as madness overtook him. His lips curled into a wild, broken grin, his mind shattering further under the weight of fear. Without thinking, he began to stumble into erratic movements, waving his arms like a ragdoll. He staggered in a twisted, desperate dance, limbs jerking unnaturally.
The monsters roared with laughter, bouncing in mockery.
“LOOK AT HIM GO!” the first burger cried. "FROM MIGHTY HERO... TO OUR DANCING CLOWN!"
"KEEP DANCING, PUPPET!" the second sneered. "WE LIKE THIS—LET’S SEE HOW LOW YOU CAN GO!"
Tommy flailed harder, gasping and sobbing as he spun on the grease-soaked ground. His boots slipped as he fell onto one knee, then scrambled back up, arms flailing like a marionette.
“IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?!” Tommy screamed, his howl rising to a manic pitch. "I’LL KEEP GOING! JUST—DON’T... DON’T CONSUME ME!!!"
At a grotesque performance, the burgers leaned in, mocking and cackling like monstrous spectators. Their massive jaws snapped up and down, oozing with grease and molten sauce.
"THERE GOES THE MIGHTY RED RANGER!" the first monster bellowed. "NOW JUST ANOTHER PATHETIC LITTLE WHORE, DANCING FOR YOUR LIFE!"
"OH, HE LOOKS SO SAD! MAYBE HE WANTS TO JOIN US RIGHT NOW!" the second burger hissed.
Tommy stumbled again, his mind splintering further with every jeer. Their laughter became deafening, drowning out any remaining shred of sanity. His body twitched uncontrollably, gasping in panic, as if he couldn’t stop dancing even if he wanted to.
“KEEP MOVING, PUPPET! WE’RE NOT DONE WATCHING YOU FALL!”
Tommy’s sobs turned into manic, hysterical laughter. His thoughts blurred between panic and delirium, each moment of humiliation sinking him deeper into despair. He had failed everyone. His friends were gone, eternally trapped, and now all he had left was this twisted charade.
Yet deep down, he knew—this wouldn’t save him. No matter how much he danced, begged, or humiliated himself, the burgers would tire of their game eventually. And when they did... he would be next.
"COME ON, HERO!" one burger roared. "ONE LAST DANCE... BEFORE THE FINAL BITE!"
The two monsters loomed closer, their laughter reverberating like a chorus of demons, as Tommy’s desperate, chaotic movements slowed. He was out of strength. His mind had crumbled into a dark abyss of fear and madness.
As the monsters' shadows engulfed him, he whispered faintly to himself, barely conscious:
"I... don’t want to be... sauce..."
The world spun as the burgers lunged forward, their jaws snapping shut around his vision, drowning him in darkness and endless laughter.
