Power Rangers: Curse of the Hungry!

The Rangers face their darkest challenge as their own teammates turn against them, corrupted by an insidious curse. Friends become enemies, and the bonds that once held them together are shattered by betrayal. Desperation drives them to a final, reckless plan to destroy Pudgy Pig and break the curse. But is it already too late?

How far will greed push them before they become the feast?

Swallow more!

The teleportation burst flickered violently, depositing the Rangers in a disjointed heap right in the middle of a busy supermarket aisle. For a brief, surreal moment, everything was eerily quiet. The fluorescent lights above hummed softly, the scent of prepared foods heavy in the air—roasted chickens, freshly baked bread, rich pasta dishes steaming under heat lamps.

Jason staggered, disoriented from the rough landing. “This... isn’t home base.” His eyes scanned the shelves, the stacks of sandwiches and neat rows of deli trays. “We’re... in a grocery store?”

Kimberly’s head snapped up, her visor reflecting the neon aisle signs. “What the hell—How did we get here?”

Shoppers stood frozen, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, staring at the colorful, spandex-clad heroes who had just appeared out of thin air. A mother clutched her child closer, her mouth forming a silent gasp. An elderly man dropped his basket, oranges rolling across the floor.

“Are those... the Power Rangers?” someone murmured, a note of awe breaking the stunned silence.

“Mommy... why are they here?” a little girl whispered, her tone trembling.

Zack’s eyes darted from face to face. “We’ve gotta get out of here,” he muttered under his breath. “Before people start asking questions.”

“Alpha, come in!” Jason barked into his communicator, his tone sharp with urgency. “Teleportation’s glitched—get us out of here!” But his device only hissed with static, a hollow crackling that felt impossibly loud.

“Great. Just... great,” Kimberly muttered, clenching her fists. “We need to find a way out before—”

A low, unnatural growl cut her off. The sound was wet, guttural, dripping with hunger. The kind of noise that didn’t belong in the human throat. Jason’s spine went cold, his head whipping around to the source.

Billy and Trini stood motionless at the end of the aisle, their bodies twisted in stiff, unnatural poses. Their arms hung limply at their sides, fingers curled into claws. Their heads were tilted, necks straining at crooked angles, their helmets reflecting the golden glow of the food displays.

Jason’s stomach churned. “Billy? Trini? You guys okay?”

Neither moved. Not a twitch. Not a breath. The air grew heavy, the tension tightening like a noose. Kimberly took a step forward, her hand outstretched. “Hey... what’s wrong? You’re freaking us out.”

Then Trini’s shoulders jerked, her head snapping to the side with a sickening crack. Her body trembled, limbs shaking violently before she lunged at the nearest display. Faster than humanly possible. She crouched low, back arched, limbs bent at odd angles. Her hands ripped into the food, grabbing sandwiches and shoving them against her helmet. She mashed them against her visor, guttural growls rumbling deep in her throat.

"Trini! What the hell are you doing?!" Jason shouted, his heart lurching.

Trini didn’t respond. She didn’t even look at him. She snarled, a bestial sound, pressing food against her faceplate, her helmet smearing with mustard and mayonnaise. She gagged in frustration, her fingers clawing at her visor, trying to rip it off. “WHY—WHY CAN’T I EAT?!”

Billy moved next, his body convulsing sharply before he dropped to all fours, his limbs bending at grotesque angles. His helmet snapped upward, visor locking on the rotisserie chickens behind the deli counter. He charged, hands and feet skittering across the tile, moving with inhuman speed. He smashed his body against the display case, his fingers clawing at the glass. “NEED IT—NEED IT NOW!”

His voice was broken, distorted with hunger and rage. He slammed his helmet against the glass, the impact sending spiderweb cracks across his visor. “CAN’T TASTE—” he screamed, his words breaking into feral snarls. He grabbed a chicken with both hands, shoving it against his faceplate, his body twitching and jerking as he tried to chew through the glass.

“Oh my God...” a woman screamed, clutching her purse.

“They’re going crazy!” a man shouted, backing away. His arms wrapped around his wife, pulling her back as they stumbled out of the aisle.

More screams erupted as the shoppers scattered, carts crashing into shelves, baskets dropped and abandoned. Children cried, their parents dragging them away, eyes wide with horror.

Jason’s heart pounded, his voice breaking with panic. “Billy! Trini! SNAP OUT OF IT!”

But they didn’t hear him. They didn’t hear anything. They weren’t human anymore.

Trini arched backward, her body contorting as she gasped and choked, her hands shaking as she smashed more food against her visor. Her mouth opened wide behind the glass, teeth snapping at nothing. She gagged again, thick saliva pooling inside her helmet. “CAN’T FUCKING TASTE IT!” Her tone was raw, desperate. Her fingers clawed at her neck, as though she could tear the helmet off by force.

Billy began to slam his head against the glass, his body writhing and jerking. His growls became animalistic, no longer coherent words but raw, guttural snarls. He smashed the display case, shards of glass raining around him as he grabbed another chicken, tearing it apart with his hands. He shoved pieces against his visor, gagging and screaming. “WHY WON’T IT WORK—WHY WON’T IT WORK?!”

“Get away from them!” Zack shouted, his voice high and panicked. “They’ve lost it! They’re fucking gone!”

“We have to stop them!” Jason roared, his fists clenched. “We have to save them!”

“They’re trying to... eat through their helmets,” Kimberly whispered, her tone shaking. “They’re... they’re monsters...”

Trini turned sharply, her head twisting at an unnatural angle as she snarled at Kimberly. Her body crouched low, limbs bent like an animal ready to pounce. Her hands were smeared with food and drool, trembling as she dragged herself closer, her movements jerking and broken.

Billy followed, his body convulsing as he dropped lower, moving on all fours like a beast. His head twitched, drool spilling from the cracks in his visor. His manner came out as a rasping snarl, words broken by gagging gasps. “Hungry... so fucking hungry...”

A chill ran down Jason’s spine. His legs refused to move as he watched his friends arch and writhe, crawling like feral animals, saliva dripping from their helmets. The corruption had devoured them, twisted them into monsters driven by insatiable hunger.

The prepared food aisle had become a twisted battlefield. The lingering scent of roasted meats and deli sandwiches now mixed with the sharp tang of sweat and fear. The once-pristine floor was littered with smashed glass, scattered food, and streaks of filth, as if the corruption inside Billy and Trini had spread to everything they touched.

The prepared food aisle was a battlefield of shattered glass, scattered food, and smeared filth, remnants of Billy and Trini’s desperate attempts to feed the insatiable hunger inside them. The air was thick with the scent of roasted meat, spilled sauces, and the sour tang of fear. The once-bright supermarket lights flickered overhead, casting eerie shadows that seemed to pulse with the same corrupted energy twisting through the two Rangers.

Billy stood in the center of the chaos, his body coiled like a spring, limbs bent at unnatural angles. His shattered visor reflected the neon light above, revealing bloodshot eyes locked in a feral, unblinking stare. His mouth was twisted into a snarl, drool glistening behind the broken glass. His fingers were curled into claws, the fabric of his gloves torn and frayed, revealing jagged, sharpened nails underneath.

Trini was no better. Her body twitched violently, her limbs spasming as she crouched low, her shoulders hunched. She rocked back and forth, her hands clawing at her visor, scraping the smeared food that clung to the glass. Her head tilted, moving with a sickening jerk, her mouth opening wide behind her faceplate, teeth gnashing as she hissed, “Need it... need it now...”

Jason’s heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. His hands shook as he gripped his blaster, aiming it at his friends, his brothers and sisters in arms. But they didn’t look like his teammates. Not anymore.

“Billy! Trini!” Jason shouted, his tone cracking under the weight of fear and betrayal. “Fight this! You’re stronger than this—snap out of it!”

Billy’s head snapped toward him, the motion too quick, too sharp. His body coiled lower, muscles bunching as he growled, his speech a wet, guttural snarl. “So hungry...” His fingers flexed, nails scratching against the tile, the sound grating and unnatural. “Need it...”

Trini arched her back, her spine bending at a sharp angle, her body twitching violently as she echoed him, her tone broken and distorted. “Need to taste... need to feed...”

Zack took a step back, his body trembling. “Jason... they’re not... they’re not them anymore.” His utterance was raw, his fists clenching and unclenching. “What the fuck do we do?”

Jason’s throat tightened. “We save them. That’s what we do.”

His resolve was met with a feral snarl as Billy exploded forward, his body unfurling with monstrous speed. He moved in blurring bursts, his limbs jerking in sharp, unnatural angles, his fingers outstretched like claws. He hit Zack hard, his body slamming into him like a freight train, sending them both crashing into a display of canned goods. Metal cans clattered to the floor, rolling underfoot as they grappled.

“BILLY! SNAP OUT OF IT!” Zack shouted, his words breaking as he struggled under the corrupted Ranger’s weight. Billy’s strength was inhuman, his muscles bulging as he pressed Zack down, his fingers digging into Zack’s shoulders, pinning him.

Billy’s face was inches from Zack’s visor, his eyes wide and bloodshot, lips pulled back into a feral snarl. His voice was low and hoarse, choked with hunger. “Open it... need to taste...” His fingers curled around Zack’s helmet, prying at the seals, his tone rising into a manic wail. “OPEN IT—LET ME TASTE!”

Zack thrashed violently, his hands grabbing Billy’s wrists, his legs kicking out. “GET THE FUCK OFF ME!” His tone was high-pitched, laced with panic. “Jason! HE’S TRYING TO RIP MY HELMET OFF!”

Jason’s blaster was already up, his hands shaking as he aimed it at Billy’s back. His finger hovered over the trigger, his heart twisting in his chest. “Don’t make me do this...” His speech was a broken whisper. “Don’t make me shoot you...”

But Billy didn’t hear him. He was too far gone, his fingers digging into the cracks of Zack’s visor, prying it open, his head lowering as his teeth gnashed behind his shattered faceplate. “SO HUNGRY—NEED IT—NOW!”

“I SAID GET OFF!” Zack roared, his legs coiling beneath him before he kicked up, his knees slamming into Billy’s stomach. Billy’s body arched backward, a guttural snarl tearing from his throat, but his grip didn’t falter. His head snapped back down, eyes wide and unblinking, his mouth curling into a sick grin.

“Always so cocky, Zack...” Billy’s utterance was warped, dripping with malice. “Bet you taste just as cocky.” He lunged forward, his teeth snapping against the glass, saliva spraying as he bit at the visor, snarling as his nails dug deeper.

Jason’s finger finally squeezed the trigger, the blaster exploding with light, the energy bolt slamming into Billy’s back. Billy’s body seized, his muscles locking as the energy ripped through him, sending him skidding across the floor. He crashed into a shelf of chips, bags bursting around him as he slumped against the wall, his body twitching violently.

“I’m sorry...” Jason’s voice was hollow, his arms dropping to his sides as he stared at his fallen friend. “I’m so fucking sorry...”

“JASON—HELP!” Kimberly’s scream was sharp and desperate. Jason’s head whipped around just in time to see Trini’s body collide with Kimberly, tackling her to the ground. They hit the tile hard, Kimberly’s back arching as she gasped, her legs kicking wildly.

Trini’s limbs were twisted, her body moving with erratic jerks, her head ticking to the side as she straddled Kimberly, her fingers curling around Kimberly’s helmet. Her tone was a broken, hungry wail, echoing off the walls. “Open it... need it... need to taste...”

Kimberly screamed, her hands beating against Trini’s chest, but Trini didn’t even flinch. Her head tilted at a sharp angle, eyes wide and feral, her mouth curling into a wicked grin.

“Should’ve let me taste before, Kim.” Trini’s manner was twisted, dripping with venom. “Bet you taste just like all that lipstick you wear.”

“LET GO OF ME!” Kimberly shrieked, her voice breaking, her legs kicking out as Trini’s fingers dug under her helmet, prying at the seals. “I DON’T—TRINI, PLEASE!”

Jason’s blood ran cold. His hands trembled as he raised his blaster again, his heart breaking as he took aim at Trini’s back.

“I’m sorry...” His tone was raw, tears burning his eyes. “I’m so fucking sorry...”

And then he pulled the trigger, the energy bolt ripping through the air, and for a moment, he could have sworn he heard Trini’s utterance, not corrupted or twisted, but scared and broken, whispering, “Help me...”

"AHH—GET OFF!" Zack’s scream was muffled, his helmet visor fogged with panic. He thrashed, his legs kicking as Billy’s weight pinned him down. But Billy was relentless, his fingers scrabbling at Zack’s helmet, trying to pry it open. His breath came in wet, sucking gasps, his mouth stretched into a snarling gape, saliva dripping onto the visor.

“So hungry...” Billy’s speech was a hoarse rasp, filled with a need that twisted the air around them. His nails scraped against the helmet’s seal, tearing at the clasps, trying to rip it away.

Zack’s hands shot up, gripping Billy’s wrists, but the corrupted Ranger’s strength was monstrous. “Jason—help! He’s—he’s gonna rip my helmet off!”

Jason moved to help, but a blur of yellow crashed into him, sending him sprawling into a metal shelf. Boxes of pre-packaged salads and containers of soup crashed down around him, the plastic lids popping open, contents spilling over the floor. He gasped as his back hit metal, pain lancing through his ribs.

Trini stood over him, her body shaking with violent tremors. Her head ticked to the side, her visor splattered with food, the glass beneath broke and webbed. Her teeth bared, sharp and predatory, her breath fogging the visor with each rapid exhale. “Need it... need more...”

She lunged at Kimberly, her body hitting the ground with both hands and feet, crawling with terrifying speed. Her gloves had torn open, fingers curling into claws, the fabric peeling back to reveal flesh marred by the curse. She reached Kimberly, her body slamming into her chest, knocking them both to the ground.

"Trini—STOP!" Kimberly shrieked, her words high-pitched, tinged with raw terror. She wrestled against her friend, but Trini was unbelievably strong, her limbs locked around Kimberly’s waist.

“So hungry... need to taste...” Trini’s voice was a grinding whisper, her visor pressed against Kimberly’s, their helmets clinking with each ragged breath. Her teeth gnashed, biting at the glass, trying to get through. Her hands curled under Kimberly’s helmet, pulling at the edges, trying to tear it away.

"Help—she’s trying to... oh, fuck, she’s trying to EAT ME!" Kimberly’s legs kicked out, her boots scuffing against the tile, her fists slamming against Trini’s sides. But Trini only growled, her body arching and twisting, pressing harder.

Jason pushed himself up, his arms quaking, vision swimming with pain. “Billy! Trini! STOP!” His manner broke, the words more a plea than a command. His eyes darted between his teammates—Zack pinned, Kimberly overwhelmed—and his hands curled into fists. “I won’t... I won’t let you do this!”

With a burst of strength, he charged forward, tackling Trini off Kimberly. They tumbled through a shelf of canned goods, metal cans clattering around them. He grappled with her, his arms locking around her waist, trying to hold her still.

“Jason—Zack’s not... he’s not gonna hold him off!” Kimberly cried, scrambling to her feet, her body shaking uncontrollably.

Zack’s shouts turned wet, guttural, his helmet visor splintering as Billy’s claws finally found purchase. “Help—he’s gonna—” His words cut off with a choked gasp, his body twitching under Billy’s weight.

Jason roared, his tone raw and broken, and threw Trini off him, her body crashing into a stack of fruit crates, oranges and apples rolling over the slick floor. He lunged at Billy, grabbing him by the collar of his suit, yanking him backward. “GET OFF HIM!”

Billy snarled, his head snapping around, his visor shattered, his eyes wide and bloodshot, lips pulled back into a feral grin. “So close... just need... need a taste...”

The battle was an explosion of chaos, a storm of screams, snarls, and sobs, the sounds clashing against the supermarket’s cold tiled walls. The air was suffocating, thick with the stench of spilled food, sweat, and panic. The corruption twisted through Billy and Trini like a virus, warping their bodies into grotesque parodies of who they once were. Their limbs jerked at unnatural angles, movements sharp and erratic, their visors shattered and smeared with food and saliva, eyes wild and unblinking behind the fractured glass.

Jason’s heart splintered with every scream, every vicious strike from the people he called his friends—his family. His hands shook violently around his blaster, his breaths coming in short, shallow gasps. But he couldn’t hesitate. Not when his teammates—his girlfriend—were lost in this nightmare.

Billy moved first, his head snapping toward Jason with an audible crack, his bloodshot eyes locking onto him. His body coiled, muscles flexing beneath his suit as he sprang forward, his speed blinding. His hands were curled into claws, nails sharpened to ragged points, shredded gloves hanging from his fingers. His mouth was pulled back in a grotesque grin, his teeth bared, saliva dripping from his lips as he charged.

Jason’s arms trembled as he raised his blaster, his chest tightening. “Billy, stop! This isn’t you!” But his words were empty, hollow against the madness.

Billy’s body slammed into him with the force of a freight train, the impact sending them both crashing into a display of soda bottles. Liquid exploded around them, hissing and fizzing as bottles burst under the pressure. Jason’s back hit the tile hard, the breath driven from his lungs as Billy’s weight pinned him down.

His eyes locked on Billy’s face, his shattered visor revealing red, bulging eyes and a twisted snarl. His fingers curled around Jason’s helmet, nails digging under the seals, prying at the edges. “Stop looking at me like that!” Billy’s tone was a raw, vicious snarl, his hands yanking at the clasps, ripping them loose. “Stop judging me! You always think you’re better!”

Jason’s heart shattered, his head twisting to the side as the seal demolished, the air hissing as his visor buckled under Billy’s grip. “I’m not judging you—Billy, come back!” His voice was a broken sob, his hands scrabbling at Billy’s wrists, trying to pry him off.

Billy’s mouth twisted into a grin, his teeth gnashing behind his faceplate, his body shuddering with rage. “No one is better than me!” His delivery was an animalistic roar, his fingers yanking at the helmet, the glass splintering as the cracks spread like webs. “No one gets to be better! Not you—NOT ANYONE!”

“GET OFF HIM!” Zack’s speech ripped through the air, his body colliding with Billy, tackling him off Jason. They tumbled across the floor, crashing through shattered packaging, their limbs locked in a brutal grapple. “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?!” Zack’s fists slammed into Billy’s shoulders, his teeth gritted as he tried to pin him down. “WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE A TEAM!”

Billy’s body jerked and twisted, his movements broken and erratic, his head snapping back with a sickening crack. His eyes were wide, bloodshot, his mouth curling into a wicked smile. “I never needed any of you.” His speech was hollow, dripping with malice. “Especially not YOU.”

His limbs locked around Zack, his fingers curling around Zack’s throat, his grip iron-tight. Zack’s body arched, his feet kicking out as he gagged, his hands clawing at Billy’s wrists. His visor fogged as his breath hitched, his legs scrabbling against the floor, his body convulsing.

Jason’s heart froze, his hands trembling as he raised his blaster, his vision blurred with tears. “Billy, stop! You’re killing him!”

Billy’s head snapped toward him, his eyes narrowing, his lips peeling back into a sneer. “Killing? You think I don’t know that?” His fingers tightened, his arms locking around Zack’s throat. “I don’t care. I want to hear him stop breathing.”

Jason’s finger pulled the trigger, the blaster exploding with light, the energy bolt slamming into Billy’s back. Billy’s body arched sharply, his limbs locking in a spasm as the energy ripped through him, sending him skidding across the floor. He crashed into a shelf of chips, bags bursting around him, his body twitching violently.

Jason’s chest heaved, his body trembling as he ran to Zack, his hands lifting Zack’s head, his delivery shaking. “Zack! Can you hear me?!”

Zack gasped, his body shuddering, his throat raw and bruised, his visor fogged with heat. “He... he was gonna...” His utterance was broken, his body trembling. “He meant it... he was gonna kill me.”

Jason’s eyes were wide, his head shaking. “No... no, he wouldn’t... he can’t...” His words broke, his chest tightening as the reality sank in.

“JASON—LOOK OUT!” Kimberly’s scream tore through the chaos.

Jason turned just as Trini’s body slammed into him, her limbs twisting unnaturally, her head ticking to the side. Her mouth was pulled back into a horrific snarl, her fingers curling around his helmet, ripping at the clasps. Her voice was a high-pitched wail, choked with rage and betrayal. “You... YOU LIED TO ME!”

Jason’s heart shattered, his body trembling. “Trini... I never lied—”

“You said you loved me!” Her fingers yanked at his visor, cracking the glass, her speech breaking into a sob. “You said you’d always protect me... BUT YOU DIDN’T!”

Jason’s eyes blurred with tears, his hands grabbing her wrists, his tone shaking. “I tried—Trini, I tried to protect you—”

“LIES!” Her body arched, her back bending at an unnatural angle, her head snapping back. Her eyes were wide, furious. “YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!” Her delivery mangled, her body convulsing. “YOU LIED!”

Her body shuddered, a ripple of dark energy surging through her, her limbs locking as she screamed, her words twisting into distorted agony. Billy’s body convulsed too, his back arching, his mouth opening in a howl of pain.

Jason’s hands were still locked around Trini’s wrists as her body shattered into corrupted light, the teleportation energy dark and fractured, leaving only the echo of her scream behind.

Jason fell to his knees, his hands still outstretched, his chest heaving as his vision blurred with tears.

“Trini... I’m so sorry...”

***

The air was heavy with the stench of death as Jason, Kimberly, and Zack stood before the twisted, grotesque lair of Pudgy Pig. Once the Angel Grove High fitness center, now it was a nightmare incarnate, a grotesque parody of what it once was. The walls were lined with bones, splintered and mangled, coated in dried blood, remnants of those who had fallen victim to the monster’s insatiable hunger. Viscera and shredded fabric hung from the rafters, trophies of the consumed, swaying gently as if whispering their agonies.

Jason’s heart pounded as he took his first step forward, his boots crunching over broken bones, the sound echoing ominously in the hollow cavern. His Power Sword was held firm in his grip, but his fingers trembled. “God...” he whispered, his tone tight. “What did he do to this place?”

Kimberly’s eyes were wide behind her visor, her shoulders hunched. “This was... this was our school.” Her tone broke, a shiver running through her as she looked around, taking in the blood-smeared walls, the destroyed mirrors, and the piles of broken remains. “I used to practice gymnastics here... right here.” Her manner was thin, fragile.

Zack’s Power Axe was held low at his side, his posture tense. He nudged a cracked skull with his boot, the hollow eyes staring back at him. “This place is a graveyard...” His utterance was hushed, his bravado shattered. “A damn slaughterhouse.”

Jason swallowed hard, his mouth dry. “He’s gonna pay for this.” His speech was sharp, edged with rage and grief, but his hands were shaking. “For every last one of them. And for Billy... for Trini.” His jaw tightened, his teeth grinding as he forced himself to keep moving.

“We’re getting them back.” Kimberly’s words were strong, but her speech wavered. She hugged her Power Bow close to her chest, her eyes darting around the shadowed corners, every flicker of movement making her flinch. “They’re still in there. They have to be.”

Zack’s shoulders slumped, his head tilting back to look at the crumbling ceiling, where dark stains spread like spiderwebs. “I hope you’re right, Kim...” His tone was hollow, his hands tightening around his weapon. “Because if they’re not...”

Jason cut him off, his words hard and commanding, trying to swallow the fear in his throat. “They are. We’re bringing them back. That’s an order.”

They moved deeper into the lair, every step slow and deliberate. The floor was slick with blood, their boots leaving streaks behind as they walked. Bones crunched underfoot, the sound echoing off the mangled mirrors that lined the walls, reflecting twisted versions of themselves back at them.

“I hate this place,” Kimberly whispered, her words trembling. Her shoulders were hunched, her body tense. “It feels... wrong. Like it’s alive.”

Zack shivered, his head snapping toward a corner where shadows shifted and writhed, his grip on his Power Axe tightening. “Wouldn’t be surprised if it was.” His tone was sharp, tinged with panic. “Feels like it’s watching us... waiting.”

Jason’s jaw clenched, his hands tight around his sword. “Let it watch. I don’t care.” His tone was hard, but his steps faltered. “I just want it to know we’re here to end it.”

A low whisper echoed through the lair, a rasping hiss that wound through the air, brushing against their skin. Kimberly’s breath caught in her throat, her hands tightening around her bow, her eyes wide. “Did you... did you hear that?”

Zack’s head whipped around, his eyes darting to the shadows. “Yeah... yeah, I heard it.” His shoulders were hunched, his body tense. “Shit, I don’t like this...”

Jason’s heart pounded, his chest tight. “Keep moving. Don’t stop. Don’t listen to it.” His tone was firm, but his hands were shaking. “It’s just trying to mess with us.”

The air grew colder as they moved deeper, the shadows thickening, the walls closing in. The lair was alive, breathing around them, its heartbeat a low, pulsing thrum that vibrated through their bones.

Zack’s delivery was thin, his body rigid. “This place is... feeding on us.” His words were shaky, his eyes wide behind his visor. “It’s feeding on our fear.”

“Then don’t be afraid,” Jason snapped, his tone breaking. “We’re Rangers. We don’t give in.”

A wet squelch echoed through the lair as Kimberly’s foot sank into something soft and sticky. She looked down, her body shuddering as she realized she was standing in a pile of crushed remains, the faces warped in agony, mouths open in silent screams.

She stumbled back, her hand flying to her mouth. “Oh God—oh God...” Her tone was high, panicked. “They’re kids... they’re all kids...”

Jason’s heart dropped, his eyes tracing the shattered faces, the broken bones, the twisted limbs. He felt sick, his body trembling. “He ate them... he ate them all...” His delivery was hollow, a choked whisper.

Zack’s body shivered, his head shaking. “He’s gonna pay. He’s gonna pay for every single one of them.” His tone was tight, his hands trembling. “This bastard’s gonna die.”

They moved forward, their bodies hunched, every step slow and careful. The walls were slick with blood, the shadows writhing as they passed. The lair seemed to breathe, its heartbeat echoing in their chests.

Then they saw him.

Pudgy Pig stood before them, his massive form blocking the light, his eyes burning with malice. His snout was caked in gore, his mouth pulled into a mocking grin, bits of armor and fabric still lodged between his jagged teeth. His body was swollen, his flesh bulging with stolen strength, his presence radiating raw power.

“Look at you...” His tone was a wet, gurgling rumble, his eyes gleaming with delight. “Little heroes come to die. Just like the rest.” His laughter was a sickening squelch, his snout curling as his body rippled with power.

Jason’s heart pounded, his sword shaking in his hands. “We’re not afraid of you.” His delivery was steady, but his knees were weak.

Pudgy Pig’s eyes narrowed, his mouth curling into a grin. “You smell like fear. Like meat.” He licked his lips, his snout flaring. “Come on then... let me taste you.”

“You’re not eating anyone else.” Jason’s manner was sharp, his stance solid, but his heart was pounding. “We end this. NOW!”

Pudgy Pig’s mouth widened, his teeth glinting. “Come on then... let’s see if you taste better than the others.”

The air was heavy with exhaustion as Jason, Kimberly, and Zack charged at Pudgy Pig, their weapons drawn, muscles aching, breaths coming in short, ragged gasps. Their movements were sharp yet sluggish, their bodies weighed down by fatigue, their attacks awkward and staggered. They were fighting not just against the monster before them, but against the overwhelming grief of losing two of their own—Billy and Trini—corrupted and taken away somewhere, their fates unknown.

Jason’s Power Sword sliced through the air, the blade crackling with energy as he swung at Pudgy Pig’s massive form. His shoulders were tense, his hands trembling. “YOU TOOK THEM!” His tone was raw, laced with rage and grief. “GIVE THEM BACK!”

Pudgy Pig’s mouth twisted into a grin, his eyes gleaming with cruel delight. “Oh, I didn’t take them... they came willingly.” His utterance was a wet, gurgling rumble, dripping with mockery. “They wanted to be free... to FEAST.” His snout curled, his body swelling with power, the shadows writhing around him.

Jason’s heart splintered, his body trembling. “LIAR!” His tone demolished, his hands tightening on his sword. “You did this! YOU TWISTED THEM!” His chest heaved, his breaths shuddering.

“And they loved every second of it,” Pudgy Pig’s delivery was a low snarl, his tongue snaking out to lick his teeth. “The power... the freedom... the hunger...” His eyes glowed with malice, his body bristling with energy. “They’re happier now than they ever were with you.”

Jason’s vision blurred, his body shaking. “No... no...” His delivery was a broken whisper, his heart twisting in agony.

Kimberly’s Power Bow was drawn tight, her shoulders shaking with fury. “YOU’RE LYING!” Her tone was sharp, breaking with grief. “They’re our friends... they would never... THEY WOULD NEVER!” Her fingers trembled, her chest heaving. “You twisted them... YOU STOLE THEM!”

Pudgy Pig’s eyes gleamed, his mouth curling into a wicked grin. “Stole? I simply showed them who they truly were. Hungry... ravenous... INSATIABLE.” His body rippled, his shadow swallowing the light, his manner a low mocking growl. “Just like you will be.”

Zack’s shoulders were hunched, his Power Axe shaking in his grip. “You twisted freak... I’LL BREAK YOU!” His utterance was a roar, his body bristling with fury. “I’ll make you pay... I’LL MAKE YOU BLEED!” His chest heaved, his hands tightening.

Jason’s eyes narrowed, his body rigid with anger. “We’re getting them back. Even if we have to tear you apart.” His words was sharp, vibrating with fury. “This ends NOW!”

They moved in unison, their attacks coordinated yet exhausted, each strike slow and heavy, their bodies dragging under the weight of fatigue. Jason’s sword swung in wide arcs, the blade crackling with energy, but his shoulders shook, his grip slipping. His movements were awkward, his swings staggered, lacking the sharp precision he was known for.

Pudgy Pig’s body twisted and coiled, his massive form moving with inhuman speed, his mouth twisting into a mocking grin. “Getting tired, little Rangers?” His tone was mocking, his snout curling. “Can’t keep up?”

Jason’s sword swung wide, missing Pudgy Pig’s head by inches. His momentum faltered, his body lurching to the side, his legs trembling.

Kimberly’s Power Bow fired a series of energy arrows, each bolt whistling through the air, but her arms were shaking, her shoulders sagging. The arrows were slow, wobbly, their energy dimming before they even reached the monster.

Pudgy Pig’s body snapped to the side, the arrows whizzing past him, his eyes gleaming. “Pathetic.” His tone was a low snarl, his body bulging with power. “Your friends fought better than this. They were STRONGER.”

Jason’s chest tightened, his hands trembling. “Shut up... SHUT UP!” His delivery was demolished, his eyes wild. “STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM!” His sword swung wide, the blade sparking as it scraped against the floor, his body staggering.

Pudgy Pig’s mouth widened, his teeth glinting with malice. “Oh, but I love talking about them... how they screamed... how they begged...” His tone was a vicious purr, his body swelling. “How they called for you... but you never came.”

Jason’s heart shattered, his body trembling. “NO!” His words was a scream, his shoulders shaking. “I tried... I tried to save them...” His breaths were shallow, his vision blurring.

Kimberly’s eyes were wide, her shoulders trembling. “STOP IT! JUST... JUST STOP!” Her utterance mangled, her fingers shaking. “You’re lying... YOU’RE LYING!”

Pudgy Pig’s laughter rumbled, his body shaking with delight. “Am I? Why don’t you ask them?” His utterance was cold, dripping with malice. “Oh wait... you can’t.”

Jason’s chest tightened, his words breaking. “NO!”

Zack’s legs buckled, his body sagging. “I can’t... I can’t do this...” His tone was hollow, his shoulders shaking.

Jason’s eyes were wild, his hands trembling. “We... we have to try. We HAVE TO TRY!” His delivery was broken, his breaths shuddering. “For them... FOR THEM!”

They moved in unison, their weapons locking together, the Power Sword, Power Bow, and Power Axe clicking into place, forming the Power Blaster. But the weapon was incomplete, the gaps where Billy’s Lance and Trini’s Daggers should have fit were stark, the weapon fractured and unstable.

Kimberly’s tone was tight, her arms trembling. “It’s not... it’s not balanced.” Her words were choked, her body tense. “We’re missing two pieces.”

“It’ll have to do.” Jason’s voice was firm, his eyes fixed on Pudgy Pig. “We don’t have another chance.”

The Power Blaster charged, energy pulsing along its length, the light flickering erratically. Jason’s speech was strong, steady. “Aim...”

The Power Blaster hummed, energy crackling along its edges, the light flickering, the weapon shaking in their hands. Jason’s delivery was a growl, his body trembling. “We’re ending this. RIGHT NOW!”

“FOR BILLY!” Kimberly’s words broke, her eyes blazing.

“FOR TRINI!” Zack’s tone was a roar, his body shaking.

“FIRE!” Jason screamed, his hands trembling as the beam of energy exploded from the Power Blaster, tearing through the air.
