Corrupted Data: Megaranger's Digital Doom!

The remaining Megarangers are drawn to an ominous computer lab by what appears to be a desperate plea from their missing teammates, Red and Blue. But what awaits them is far worse than they could have imagined. The lab pulses with an eerie digital life, and the heroes find themselves caught by a sinister power that manipulates their reality, threatening to twist their very existence into corrupted copies. As they fight to rescue their friends, the haunting realization dawns: in this digital hell, no one is safe, and every hero is just a piece of data waiting to be replicated—and corrupted.

Will the Megarangers have the power to reboot their reality, or are they destined to be deleted?

The cold air in the computer lab felt thick with something sinister. The sterile hallway, usually buzzing with students and teachers, was silent, almost too silent, save for the faint hum of electricity flowing through the lifeless monitors. Mega Black led the trio, his eyes narrowed as he watched the blinking tracker on his visor. Each beep in the digital darkness pushed them closer to the unknown.

“We’ll find them,” Yellow assured, her voice strong despite the eerie quiet. “Hinelar may think he’s clever, but we’ve outsmarted him before. Wacky plans are his thing, but we’ve got this.”

Pink, however, looked more hesitant, her fists clenched. “I hope you’re right, Yellow. Red and Blue have been out of touch for hours. If something happened to them…”

“It didn’t,” Black cut in, his tone steady but tense. “They’re alive. That signal proves it.”

The trio stopped at a junction, the hallway branching off into two directions. Black studied the tracker again, watching as the green blip blinked insistently. “We go right,” he instructed.

They turned the corner, coming face to face with a set of double doors. Above the doors, a faded sign read "Sector Z - Lab Archive." With a determined nod, Black pushed the doors open, revealing a vast room dominated by a single podium in the center. Upon it stood an ancient, clanking computer, seemingly untouched by modern tech advancements. Two datacards lay nearby, propped ominously against the monitor. Scrawled in blocky, red letters on each card were the words: FOR MEGALOSERS.

Yellow snorted. “Classy as ever, Hinelar,” she muttered. But her confidence faded as her gaze lingered on the cards. “I don’t like this. What if it’s… a trap?”

“It’s always a trap,” Black replied, though even his steady voice wavered. He walked up to the podium, carefully picking up one of the cards. Its surface felt oddly warm, almost alive. “But we don’t have a choice. If these can lead us to Red and Blue, we have to take the risk.”

With a nod, Yellow stepped forward, inserting the red card into the computer’s slot. The ancient machine groaned to life, gears whirring and grinding as if reluctant to obey. They waited, tense, as the screen flickered, finally illuminating with a harsh green glow.

The image on the screen solidified, and the trio gasped. Mega Red’s face, still in his helmet, stared back at them, eyes wide with terror. His suit seemed faded, the once-vibrant red dull and distorted, like he was being pulled into the very code of the screen.

“Oh no… Red… you’re—" Pink’s voice wavered as she took in the scene, her heart sinking.

Red’s image quivered with his jumbled words through the ancient speakers. “I—I’m stuck in here. We were ambushed. One blast, then nothing, and then… this.” He looked down at himself, seeming almost to sense the limitations of his own pixels. “I don’t feel anything. It’s like I’m part of this… this code.”

Yellow’s face hardened. “No. This can’t be real. Red, this is some trick. Hinelar thinks he can scare us, but he’s wrong. We’re going to get you out. Just tell us how.”

Red’s gaze grew powerless, his hands pressing against the screen as if trying to push through it, to reach them. “I don’t think there is a way. This place… I’m part of it now. Part of the card.”

The trio shared a look of horrified disbelief, all traces of the usual banter gone. The steely MegaBlack stepped forward. “We’re not leaving you like this. There’s a way to reverse it. We just have to find it.”

Red shook his head, his eyes dimming with a fearful acceptance. “You don’t understand, Black. This isn’t just some virtual reality. I am data now. I can’t leave this computer. The card—it’s like it owns me.”

Pink bit her lip, her fists clenching. “But you’re… you, Red. You’re more than data! You’re our friend. We won’t let this—”

Suddenly, the screen flickered, and a low rumbling emitted from the computer, lines of text scrolling in a mechanical green:

COMMAND: ACCESS MEMORY. MEGA RED FILE READY FOR RE-ENCODE.

Red’s face contorted in horror. “No! Don’t let it… please… don’t put me back in the card! If you do that, I’ll be… gone. I won’t even remember myself. Just trapped, erased if you pull me out again.” He looked at them in horror. “I can barely hold on as it is.”

The trio stared in shocked silence, the weight of the situation sinking in. Black’s hands balled into fists, his gaze unwavering as he spoke. “Red, we’ll get you out. We’ll find another way. You won’t be stuck in there.”

COMMAND: PREPARE FILE FOR SWAP. ENGAGE BLUE FILE EXCHANGE.

The words blinked across the screen, mocking them, a twisted monument of the cruel setup. As they watched, another card slot blinked open beside the red one, a blue slot, awaiting an exchange.

“It’s Hinelar’s trap,” Yellow gasped, voice shaking. “To swap Red for Blue… he’s using them like… like files.”

Red’s eyes widened, pleading. “Please. Don’t put me back. Don’t trade me just to find Blue. I’ll lose… everything. Every memory, every feeling… I’ll just be data… nothing more.”

Pink’s eyes filled with tears, her hand hovering over the slot. “Red…”

But Black took her hand, stopping her. His gaze was sharp, a new resolve taking over. “We’re not leaving anyone in here. Hinelar wants us to trade, to give up one friend for another, but that’s not an option.”

The words on the screen blinked, insistently demanding a choice:

SWAP OR CANCEL?

With one last look at Red’s pleading face, Black took a deep breath and pressed the cancel key. The screen went dark, but a faint, hopeful smile had lingered on Red’s face just before the screen cut out.

As they turned to leave, Black’s voice echoed in the empty lab, filled with steely determination. “We’re coming back for both of you. I promise.”

The lab’s sterile silence shattered as soon as Pink inserted Blue’s card into the slot. The ancient computer blazed to life, bathing the room in a sickly green light that cast long, unnatural shadows. Blue’s face appeared on the monitor, twisted and distorted, his eyes wide with sheer terror. His gloved fists pounded against the inside of the screen, his mouth open in a silent scream that soon burst from the speakers, raw and frantic.

“NO! NO, PLEASE, NO!” Blue screamed with his delivery echoing like a cry for help through the crackling speakers. He clawed at his suit, his helmet shuddering under the strain. “Get me out! You have to get me out! Hinelar trapped us here! This is a nightmare! There’s no escape!”

“Blue!” Yellow cried, recoiling as the image on the screen flickered and glitched, Blue’s face warping with digital static. “Hold on! We’re here—we’re going to get you out!”

But Blue only thrashed more violently, his face twisted with horror as he pounded the screen, his gloved hands leaving crackling, fractured marks on the visor. “You don’t understand!” he shrieked. “It’s too late! You activated the system—you’ve triggered it! Don’t you see? Hinelar wanted you to use the cards. Now… now it’s all over!

Black took a shaky step back. “Blue, we didn’t know! Tell us how to shut it down! We’re not leaving you or Red in there—just tell us what to do!

Before they could react, a metallic bang echoed through the room as the double doors behind them slammed shut, sealing them in. The floor trembled, then the walls warped and twisted, the entire room seeming to ripple with an invisible force. Gravity shifted without warning, and they were thrown off their feet, helplessly tumbling as the lab became a swirling vortex of chaos.

Pink shrieked as she lost her balance, hurtling backward into a wall. “I—I can’t hold on! What’s happening? The room—it’s turning on us!”

“It’s the system,” Yellow cried, gripping at the edge of a table, her face pale beneath her visor. “We triggered something. Blue, please—how do we stop this?”

Blue’s face contorted on the monitor, filled with terror. “You can’t stop it! Hinelar has us all! There’s no way out. You’re next! This—this place is a trap!

The screen flickered, static hissing through the speakers. Yellow’s hands curled tightly around the table, her voice high and panicked. “No! There’s always a way out. We’re not leaving you and Red in here, Blue!”

Pink struggled to keep her footing as the gravity shifted again, her body thrown forward and back like a rag doll. Red’s card slipped from her grip, clattering and tumbling across the distorted floor. “Red! No, I—I dropped it!” She reached out anguishedly, her fingers inches away, but another pull of gravity wrenched her back.

“Stay focused!” Black yelled, but he himself was thrown violently into Yellow, both crashing into the far wall, limbs tangled as they fought to regain control. He gritted his teeth, trying to keep calm. “There has to be a way to break the system. Blue, think—what did Hinelar say? Did he leave any way to reverse it?”

Blue’s head shook violently, his image glitching in and out. “He’s… he’s playing with us! This computer, it’s his twisted game! There’s no way out, Black! We’re all going to be trapped here, data forever!”

Yellow screamed, “Don’t say that, Blue! You’re not data—you’re our friend! You’re still real! We’re getting you out if it’s the last thing we do!”

But Blue’s eyes grew wild with a horrifying realization. “This is… the end. Hinelar wants to trap all of you. There’s no escape this time.”

The gravity surged again, throwing Pink across the room. She crashed into the podium, gasping as she clung to it for dear life. “We need to shut this thing down! Black, do something!

“Hold on!” Black tried to stabilize himself. “We’ll get control back. We have to!”

Blue, his face twisted with despair, gave a final, forlorn scream. “You don’t understand! It’s already too late! Run! Get out! Don’t let him take you!

COMMAND: ENGAGE FINAL CAPTURE SEQUENCE.

The words flashed across the screen in sickly green letters, and the computer whirred louder, the room filling with a low, ominous hum. Pink’s fingers slipped from the podium as the floor twisted beneath her. “No… No! Don’t let this happen!” she cried, her voice breaking.

The walls seemed to close in, narrowing as they writhed and contorted around them. Red’s card clattered to the floor, just out of Pink’s reach, as the heroes were thrown from one end of the lab to the other. Yellow reached out, eyes wide, her voice thick with terror. “Red! I won’t lose you too!”

“Hold on, Yellow!” Black shouted, yet he was drowned out by the grinding, shifting room. The lab was twisting them further into Hinelar’s trap, a vortex of impossible angles and warped gravity, each turn pulling them closer to the central computer.

Blue’s face glitched on the monitor, his anguished eyes tracking them as they tumbled with anguish. “Please, don’t let him take me too.

The computer whirred louder, gears grinding in sync with the digital commands flashing ominously across the screen:

COMMAND: EXPUNGE SUBJECT BLUE. CONVERT TO MINDLESS DATA. BEGIN EXTRACTION.

Blue’s distorted face on the monitor twisted in agony as the countdown began. “No! Come on! I don’t want to… forget who I am… I don’t want to be… just data!”

The trio thrashed in the warped, zero-gravity space, desperately trying to steady themselves as the room continued its nauseating spin. Black gritted his teeth, forcing himself to think clearly in the midst of the chaotic nightmare. He raised his blaster and fired, the recoil propelling him forward, allowing him to lunge closer to the computer.

“Hold on, Blue!” he yelled shakily as he landed near the computer, clutching the edge of the podium. His hands scrambled over the keyboard, pounding at random keys, hopeless to disrupt the process. The monitor flashed back at him with a cruel indifference, the progress bar inching ever closer to completion.

90%... 91%... 92%…

“It’s… not… working!” Black muttered with rising panic as he hammered the keys. “There has to be a way to stop this!”

Pink floated nearby, her eyes wide with terror. “Black, hurry! That bar—if it finishes, Blue will be gone! We can’t lose him!”

Yellow reached out, straining against the gravitational pull, her voice filled with desperation. “Try pulling the plug! Anything! Just stop it!”

Black’s hands flew over the console, but every keypress was met with a mocking line of error codes. “Damn it!” he shouted, his frustration mounting as the progress bar climbed inexorably forward:

97%… 98%…

“No choice,” he muttered through clenched teeth. His fingers wrapped around the datacard, the very card containing Blue’s trapped essence, as he braced himself. With one swift motion, he yanked the card out of the slot.

A surge of electricity shot through his body, sharp and unrelenting, as if the computer itself was punishing him for the attempt. Black gasped, his body jolting with the shock, but he held tight to the card, cringing in pain as he was flung backward, tumbling helplessly through the shifting gravity until he collided with the floor—now the ceiling—of the warped room.

“Black!” Pink screamed, struggling to reach him. She clutched his arm, helping him steady himself as the shock wore off. “Are you okay? Did it work?”

Black grimaced, his body still tingling with the remnants of the electric surge, but he managed a shaky nod. “I got the card,” he gasped, holding it up, his gloved hand trembling. “I… I think I stopped it…”

For a moment, a tense, uneasy silence settled over the lab. The flickering lights stilled, and the twisted gravity seemed to level out. The three heroes took a collective breath, daring to believe they’d succeeded. Yellow let out a nervous chuckle, her voice wavering with relief. “We did it… Blue, we saved you.”

But as Black looked down at the card in his hand, his face paled. The screen on the computer blinked one last line:

PROCESS COMPLETE. DATA EXTRACTED.

His heart sank as he stared at the small, silent datacard in his grip, its dull sheen offering no sign of life. “No… no, I was fast enough—I had to be!”

Pink’s eyes filled with dread as she looked at the card. “Black… did we… are we too late?”

The silence was deafening as they stared at the card, hope slipping away with each passing second. Black’s hand shook as he clutched it tightly, willing it to show some sign that Blue was still there—that he hadn’t failed. But the card remained cold and unresponsive.

Yellow’s voice broke as she breathed, “Blue? Can you… can you hear us?”

No response. Black’s eyes burned with desperation, his mind racing as he fought against the crushing reality. “This can’t be how it ends. Not like this…”

But the computer screen, now devoid of Blue’s image, seemed to mock them with its quiet, indifferent glow, and the weight of what they’d lost pressed down on them, suffocating in its finality.

The lab crackled and hissed with electricity, the computer’s short circuiting spreading rapidly through the tangled cables and massive data storage units. Lights blinked erratically, bursts of sparks erupting dangerously close to the heroes. The room was alive with chaos, and amidst the sparking madness, one of the towering data storage boxes creaked open with a hiss of steam.

The silhouette of a familiar figure emerged, and as the mist cleared, MegaBlue stepped forward, his helmeted form surrounded by swirling vapor. Pink’s heart leapt at the sight. “MegaBlue! You’re back! How did you—?”

But her relief was short-lived. MegaBlue lunged forward, launching himself through the disorienting zero gravity with unnerving speed. His target: Black. With a powerful impact, he tackled his team captain, sending them both tumbling backward. Black’s visor flashed with warnings as he struggled to push his friend away.

“Blue! What are you doing?” Black gasped, fighting to catch his breath as he tried to break free. “It’s us—your team!”

MegaBlue’s visor flickered red, his grip tightening as he pressed closer. His words came out hollow, robotic, and broken: “Data… for Hinelar… more data must be collected…”

The computer on the podium blared with glitchy commands, the words scrolling across the monitor with a disturbing rhythm:

COMMAND: COLLECT DATA. SUBJECT BLUE ACTIVE. PROCESSING...

Yellow’s face paled, her eyes widening in horror. “Blue! Snap out of it! This isn’t you!”

But Blue’s movements were mechanical, efficient, and ruthless. He swung at Black with brutal precision, forcing his friend back toward the crackling walls. Each strike was calculated, as if controlled by some unseen hand.

The computer’s commands continued, the screen flashing:

DATA INTEGRATION INCOMPLETE. ERROR DETECTED. FURTHER COLLECTION REQUIRED.

Pink’s voice broke as she raised her trembling blaster, unsure what to do. “What if… what if he’s still in there? What if we hurt him?”

Blue’s head snapped toward her, the visor glowing with that cold, unfeeling red light. “All data… must serve Hinelar,” he droned with tone glitching in and out. He lunged again, this time toward Yellow, his fists raised, unrelenting.

Yellow barely dodged, her voice shaking as she called out to him. “Blue, please! You’re stronger than this! Don’t let him control you!”

The computer’s speakers screeched, spitting out more glitchy commands:

ERROR. SUBJECT YELLOW DETECTED. INITIATE DATA CAPTURE.

Black pushed off a nearby wall, using the zero gravity to propel himself back into the fight. He reached out, grabbing Blue’s arm. “Blue, fight it! We know you’re in there!”

But Blue twisted free, his strength enhanced by whatever twisted program had taken over. His helmeted face showed no recognition, no warmth. “Data… must be collected…” he muttered, his tone gloomy and glitching, each word slicing through his friends’ hearts.

Another command flashed on the computer screen, blinking with cruel urgency:

DATA COLLECTION INITIATED. SYSTEM ERROR. MANUAL CAPTURE REQUIRED.

“Damn it!” Black shouted, trying to keep his friend from striking again. “He’s being controlled—we have to stop this!

The lab shuddered as the data storage units around them surged, the lights strobing in a dizzying pattern. Blue turned toward Yellow, his fists clenching, ready to strike. “You’re not data!” Yellow screamed, tears forming in her eyes. “You’re MegaBlue, our teammate!”

Blue’s visor flickered, but his pronunciation remained hollow, devoid of emotion. “Processing… must process data… for Hinelar.”

Pink sobbed, raising her blaster, her voice breaking. “I don’t want to do this, but I can’t let you hurt us!”

The computer bellowed another command, its voice glitching:

SUBJECT BLUE UNSTABLE. FINALIZE COLLECTION.

Black’s face twisted in horror, realizing that the computer was using Blue as a weapon. With no choice, he launched himself at Blue, grappling with him in a hopeless attempt to hold him back. “We won’t let Hinelar have you!”

The computer spat another line of corrupted text:

ALL SUBJECTS WILL BE COLLECTED. INITIATING OVERRIDE.

Blue’s strength intensified, and he slammed Black against a nearby data storage box, sparks flying. “Data… must be… collected…” he gasped, voice glitching into a haunting echo.

With his last ounce of strength, Black twisted free, determination blazing in his eyes. “You’re not data, Blue! You’re our friend!”

But as he said it, the room exploded with hissing steam and flashing lights, and the computer’s voice crackled, relentless:

COLLECTION IN PROGRESS. DATA CONVERSION IMMINENT.

***

The computer lab was a chaotic nightmare of flashing lights and electric sparks, the sound of steam hissing from opening storage boxes echoing like a cruel taunt. The heroes turned, eyes wide with disbelief, as yet another MegaBlue clone emerged from the mist, followed by another. The chamber was soon filled with identical, helmeted figures, each one moving with an unnerving, synchronized precision.

Yellow's voice trembled as she stumbled backward, her visor reflecting the countless clones advancing on them. "How… how many of him are there?" she gasped, her hands shaking. "Are any of them the real Blue?"

Pink’s grip on her blaster faltered, her eyes filling with confusion and dread. "Blue… if you’re in there… any of you… please, snap out of it! We’re your friends!" Her voice cracked, wavering between hope and despair.

But the clones showed no sign of recognition. They moved in perfect unity, their visors glowing red as they lunged. Black’s heart raced, his thoughts spiraling. “If they’re all just copies, then… do we have to fight back with everything we have?” The hero grew uncertain, the horror of the situation pressing down on him. “What if… what if we hurt the real Blue?”

A clone lunged at him, its movements mechanical yet disturbingly familiar. Black tried to dodge, but the zero gravity environment was disorienting, throwing off his reflexes. He swung his blaster, but the blow was awkward, and the clone easily countered, slamming a fist into his side. Black grunted in pain, spinning helplessly through the air.

Pink fired her blaster, but her aim was off, the shot ricocheting harmlessly off a wall. “I can’t… get a clear shot!” she cried, her voice rising in panic. A clone grabbed her arm, twisting it with brutal strength, and she let out a strangled scream. “They’re too strong… we can’t even move right in this… this zero gravity nightmare!”

Yellow tried to strike back, her kicks and punches clumsy in the floating environment. “Why can’t we adapt?” she screeched, frustration mingling with fear as she felt her strength slipping. Another clone grabbed her, pinning her against the wall. “We’re… we’re getting overwhelmed!”

Black managed to twist free from his assailant, but he was already gasping for breath, his mind reeling. “We’ve never… fought like this before,” he breathed, doubt seeping into his tone. His punches felt weaker, slower, and the clones seemed to anticipate every move. “They’re… too good. We can’t even land a solid hit…”

The clones pressed their attack, their strikes brutal and relentless. Each hero was pummeled, their suits sparking with every blow, their minds clouded with panic and pain. Pink’s vision blurred, her thoughts racing. “We’re… we’re losing,” she choked out, barely able to comprehend the hopelessness of their situation. “Are we even making a difference?”

The computer spat out another series of glitchy commands, each line echoing like a death knell:

COMMAND: OVERWHELM SUBJECTS. WEAKEN AND ISOLATE.

Black’s head spun as he was slammed into another wall, his visor fracturing slightly. His mind was filled with doubt, his confidence crumbling. “We’re… we’re not strong enough,” he groaned. “Is this it? Did we… lose him?”

Yellow tried to rally, but her voice wavered with growing despair. “Blue… if any part of you is still there… please, we need you!” But her words sounded hollow, and another brutal hit sent her reeling.

The clones surrounded them, their attacks unrelenting, and as the heroes' cries of pain and desperation echoed through the lab, the crushing realization sank in: they were outmatched, out of time, and facing the horrifying possibility that their friend was gone forever.

Pink’s heart pounded as one of the MegaBlue clones grabbed her arm, the tight spandex of her suit stretching under its unrelenting grip. “No—wait!” she gasped, trying to hold on, but the clone twisted her arm with merciless strength and ripped the Red datacard from her grasp.

No!” she screamed, her voice deteriorating with fear. She tried to fight back, but the clone’s other fist slammed into her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. Before she could react, a powerful kick sent her flying backward, her body slamming into Yellow.

Yellow had rushed forward to help, but the impact of Pink’s body drove her back, sending them both tumbling through the disorienting zero gravity. “We… we have to get that card!” Yellow shouted, her voice forlorn as she tried to steady herself.

The two heroines scrambled to recover, but more Blue clones closed in, their brutal attacks blocking any attempt to move forward. Each punch, each kick from the clones was precise and unrelenting, overwhelming them with a strength that felt insurmountable. Pink’s vision blurred, her thoughts spiraling into a fog of pain and fear.

“Stay together!” Black shouted with strained power as his own fight against the clones pushing him to his limits. He saw the Blue clone with the Red datacard step up to the computer, and his heart sank. “No… don’t let them—!”

It was too late. The Blue clone inserted the Red datacard back into the computer. The machine whirred to life with a terrifying, electric hum, sparks exploding from its circuits. The entire room was bathed in a blinding light, and a surge of energy burst out, crackling and arcing through the air, striking everything in its path—including the heroes.

The electricity hit them like a storm, zapping through their suits, making their bodies writhe uncontrollably. The pain was excruciating, a searing, white-hot agony that made them squirm and twist, their muscles convulsing. They tumbled endlessly in the zero gravity, helpless and overwhelmed.

Pink let out a piercing squeal, her voice breaking from the sheer pain as her body contorted. “It hurts—!” she screamed, her fingers curling, her limbs flailing as she was tossed through the air like a ragdoll.

The Blue clone yanked the Red datacard from Pink's grip, and her eyes widened in shock, desperation bursting from her throat. “No! Give it back!” she shouted, struggling against the clone's vice-like grip on her spandex-clad arm. Her muscles strained, but she couldn’t break free. The clone twisted her arm, and she let out a strangled gasp of pain.

Stay away from her!” Yellow cried, lunging to help, but before she could get close, the clone delivered a brutal punch to Pink’s stomach. Pink's mouth opened in a silent scream, and then a powerful kick sent her flying backward. She crashed into Yellow, and they both went spinning through the disorienting zero gravity, limbs flailing helplessly.

“Pink!” Yellow called out, her voice breaking. She tried to regain her balance, but another clone blocked her, driving a knee into her side. “We have to stop them! We can’t let them—

Black’s voice was raw with panic as he saw the Blue clone approach the computer with the datacard. “No!” he roared, shoving away his own attacker and trying to push forward. “Don’t let them do it! Fight, everyone—give it everything you’ve got!” But his words felt hollow, swallowed by the chaos around them.

Pink’s voice trembled with pain and fear as she tried to push herself upright. “We can’t… give up!” she cried, her body still shaking from the clone’s assault. She reached out, trying to grab onto something, anything, to pull herself forward, but another clone kicked her back, sending her tumbling once more. “They’re too strong!

Yellow gritted her teeth, her face twisted in determination and terror. “We have to keep trying!” she shouted, but her punches were clumsy in the zero gravity, every move feeling slow and ineffective. “We can’t lose… we just can’t!” But doubt crept into her voice, the relentless pressure of the clones breaking down her resolve.

We have to adapt!” Black yelled with desperation seeping as he swung his blaster, but his shots went wild, ricocheting harmlessly off the walls. “Come on, think! We’ve fought in tough situations before… We… we can’t lose here!” But the clones closed in, their attacks precise and brutal. One grabbed his blaster arm, twisting it back, and Black let out a choked cry, pain flaring through his shoulder.

We’re getting overwhelmed!” Pink sobbed, her voice fracturing as she tried to twist away from another clone, but its iron grip held her in place. “Why can’t we… fight back?!

The Blue clone with the Red datacard reached the computer and slammed the card into the slot. Black’s heart sank. “No! Please—don’t do this!” But the computer came alive, lights flaring, electricity crackling, and he could only watch in horror as a surge of energy exploded from the machine.

The room was consumed by blinding light and a storm of electric energy. The zaps struck the heroes like lightning bolts, ripping through their suits, making their bodies convulse and squirm. Black let out a strangled yell, his limbs jerking uncontrollably. “Gah—! It… hurts! I can’t… move!” He twisted in agony, every muscle spasming, his strength draining away.

Pink’s voice was shrill with pain as she flailed, tears streaming down her face. “Make it stop! Please, someone—make it stop!” Her arms and legs jerked violently, the energy searing through her, leaving her feeling helpless and broken.

Yellow's voice joined the cacophony, a high-pitched, anguished screech. “I can’t take this!” she sobbed, her body writhing in midair, her mind clouded with agony. “Why… can’t we… fight back?

The computer hissed and groaned, steam filling the lab as the Red datacard activated the system once again. With a loud creak, another storage box opened, and out stepped a new figure shrouded in mist—a clone of MegaRed. The heroes’ hearts stopped at the sight, and before Black could react, the clone lunged, slamming into him with brutal force.

Red? No—” Black’s words were cut off as the clone drove him back, their bodies crashing through the double doors. The impact shattered them open, revealing not the familiar hallway but a surreal, mirror-filled icosahedron chamber. Black gasped, disoriented, as he tumbled across the shimmering floor, every mirrored surface reflecting twisted images of himself and the nightmare unfolding around them. “Where… where are we?” he muttered, trying to make sense of the chaos.

Outside the dimensional chamber, distorted reflections of Dr. Hinelar appeared, his face twisted with a maniacal grin, his laughter echoing from every mirrored wall. “Ah, my pathetic Megarangers,” he sneered joyfully. “Look at you now! This is your end, your final resting place. This chamber will be your tomb, and I’ll savor every last scream!”

Yellow struggled against the clones that overwhelmed her, desperation filling her voice. “No! Red, if that’s really you, please—snap out of it!” She tried to kick free, but the Blue clones pummeled her with brutal, coordinated attacks, each punch driving the air from her lungs. Her mind raced, disbelief mixing with growing fear. “They’re… too strong! We can’t fight them off!

Pink twisted and fought, her blaster firing wildly, but every shot missed in the disorienting, zero-gravity chaos. “There’s too many! We’re… we’re not going to make it!” she cried, tears of frustration and terror welling in her eyes. The Blue clones grabbed her, twisting her arms behind her back. She struggled, her voice deteriorating. “I can’t… get loose! They’re going to…

With a final, brutal shove, the clones hurled Yellow and Pink into the mirrored chamber. Yellow landed beside Black, gasping for breath. “Black… where are we? What is this place?” she asked, panic creeping into her voice. “It’s… it’s a trap, isn’t it?

Pink tumbled across the reflective floor, groaning in pain as she tried to push herself up. “I think… I think we were led here,” she whispered with tremors. “They… they’re herding us, trapping us.

Dr. Hinelar’s cruel laughter intensified, and his reflections loomed larger, his face twisted in sadistic glee. “You fought so hard, and for what?” he mocked gloriously from every mirrored surface. “To end up here, in my chamber of doom! This is your final performance, heroes, and I’ll drink in every last ounce of your suffering.”

Shut up, Hinelar!” Black roared, pushing himself to his feet, but his strength wavered with fear. “We’re not… finished yet! We’ll find a way out, no matter what you throw at us!” He clenched his fists, but his heart was pounding. The hopelessness of their situation was starting to crush him.

Black… look!” Yellow shouted, pointing with a trembling hand. “He has a cannon—what is he going to do?!

Hinelar lifted a massive cannon, his eyes gleaming with perverse delight. “You pathetic Megarangers,” he sneered. “All that courage, all that strength—it’s mine now. I’ve drained others before you, and I’ll savor every moment of draining you too. Get ready to scream, my little heroes!”

The cannon glowed with a dark, pulsing energy, and he took aim. “Time to say goodbye, Megalosers! Let’s hear those sweet, agonizing cries!”

No—stop!” Pink screamed, her voice breaking as the cannon fired. A surge of malevolent energy blasted through the chamber, beams of light converging on the trio. Pink’s body convulsed, the energy searing through her suit, making every nerve burn with excruciating pain. “I can’t… it hurts too much!” she squealed, her eyes bulging, tears streaming down her face. “Please… someone… help me!

Yellow’s entire body spasmed, her limbs flailing uncontrollably as she was enveloped by the light. “It’s too much!” she screamed, her voice a high-pitched wail, the agony tearing through her. “We… we can’t… survive this!” Her eyes were wide with terror, her vision blurring as the chamber seemed to close in around her.

Black gritted his teeth, trying to fight through the pain, but his body twisted and jerked with each jolt of energy. “We have to… keep fighting…” he gasped, but his strength draining away. “We can’t… lose here!” But the light grew brighter, the pain more intense, and he let out a strangled cry. “It’s… too strong… we can’t… hold on!

Dr. Hinelar’s laughter filled the chamber, gleeful and triumphant. “Yes, that’s it! Scream for me, Megarangers! Your heroics are over, and your suffering will be legendary!”

No… please…” Pink sobbed, her voice reduced to a broken whisper. “We… can’t… end like this…” But the light grew blinding, consuming her, her body writhing and contorting as the agony reached an unbearable peak.

Yellow’s voice cracked as she screamed one final time, her eyes filled with despair. “Someone… help us! We’re… fading… away!

Black’s body seized up, his eyes bulging, the light burning through him, his final scream tearing from his throat. “Hinelar—!” But his voice was lost in the onslaught, the sound of their torment echoing endlessly in the mirrored chamber.

The heroes glowed brighter and brighter, their bodies sparking and fracturing, their cries of pain and desperation filling the room. The energy consumed them, and as their final, anguished screams echoed through the mirrored chamber, the light swallowed them whole. Dr. Hinelar’s laughter rang out, victorious and unrelenting, sealing the fate of the Megarangers in a cruel, gleaming prison of agony.

The light flared brighter and brighter, engulfing the heroes completely. Their bodies twisted and contorted, their screams reaching a harrowing crescendo. They writhed helplessly, their limbs tangled and intertwined with those of the clones, their very forms being pulled apart and reshaped, assimilated into their relentless attackers.

MegaYellow’s voice cracked, her last anguished plea echoing through the mirrored chamber. “Please… don’t let it end like this—!” But the sound dissolved into a strangled, agonized cry as her form merged into one of the MegaBlue clones, her body and essence fusing with the inhuman doppelganger. Pink's sobs became choked gasps, her last, horrified “Help…” silenced as she too was pulled into the grotesque amalgamation, leaving the Blue clone standing with half of its body now a disturbing, twisted reflection of Yellow and Pink. The clone’s limbs were a grotesque mix: one arm and one leg colored and styled like MegaYellow’s, the other half like MegaPink’s, each feature a mockery of the heroines they once were.

MegaRed’s clone, meanwhile, absorbed Black, pulling him into its form. Black’s visor cracked as his final shout, “We’ll never… give up!” warped into a broken whisper before his essence twisted into the clone’s crimson form. Red’s clone now stood tall, one side displaying Black’s colors and features, a grotesque memorial of the brave leader who had fought so hard to protect his friends.

Black’s eyes rolled back as his scream turned into a broken sob. “We tried… we really tried…” he moaned hard as the Red clone consumed him, his final words trailing off into silence.

The chamber fell into an eerie calm, the light dimming as the assimilation ended. The clones stood taller now, their forms a twisted, horrific mockery of the Megarangers. The MegaBlue clone had half of its body taken over by Yellow and Pink, their limbs and features warped and melted into its blue suit. The MegaRed clone now bore half of Black’s body, his essence permanently twisted into its form.

But the cruelest mockery was yet to be seen. The helmets of the fallen heroes—symbols of their courage and unity—were now reshaped, adorning the groins of the clones as humiliating trophies of their utter defeat.

Each clone held a datacard, glowing faintly with the trapped souls of the fallen heroes. The cards pulsed with muffled, hopeless voices, the once-proud warriors now reduced to begging echoes.

Please… don’t leave us here…” came Yellow’s pleading voice from her datacard, choked with tears and fear. “We’re still here… We’re still us…

Pink’s voice joined, barely more than a whisper, filled with heartbreak. “I don’t want to… vanish into nothing…” she sobbed, her voice fading as the datacard’s surface hardened, deadening her cries.

Each clone held the datacards containing the souls of the fallen heroes, the cards glowing faintly in their unfeeling hands. Muffled, panicked screams echoed from within the datacards, the heroes’ voices twisted with terror and despair. “Please… don’t leave us…” came Yellow’s muffled, pleading voice. “We’re still here… we’re still alive…” Pink’s cries were barely audible, swallowed by the cold, dead surface of the card, while Black’s voice, once so strong, was reduced to a faint whisper of anguish.

But even those powerless, muffled screams were silenced as the cards' surfaces grew cold and lifeless, deadening the last remnants of their cries. The clones stood tall, each holding the captured souls of their victims, their half-assimilated forms a grotesque celebration of Hinelar’s triumph.

Outside the chamber, Dr. Hinelar’s laughter rang out, triumphant and unrelenting. He stood amidst the mirrored reflections, his eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure as he raised his arms in celebration. “Yes! Yes! The Megarangers are no more! Their souls will fuel the technology of my evil empire, and their bravery has become nothing but a footnote in my victory!”

He turned, his gaze full of malevolent satisfaction, as the chamber pulsed with the power of the fallen heroes. “With this new power, I will reign supreme,” he declared in the cold, gleaming prison. “The universe will bow before my technological might, and no one will ever dare challenge the genius of Dr. Hinelar again!”
