Gosh my emotions went through a 180 flip when i first saw this episode 😭 The letters made me super sentimental ;-; And from what I understand from the game is that if the flat side of the thing is facing upward, then that is one move on the board (they also did another game of Yut Nori(?) for a previous new years thing😂) The ingredients were like half normal and half not normal (like the gummybears...) so they were trying to avoid the weird ones cause you Had to use all of the ingredients in the soup 😂 There wasn't a preview for the next ep, but half of it is them lowkey giving spoilers for the Fireworks cb, so look out for those!! :')

The way they knew those dishes were familiar, then they could instantly pick out their mother's cooking (except poor Hwa lol) had me so emotional! They were filming in the middle of a holiday and got a taste of some homemade dishes and letters. Thanks for making me rewatch Hongjoong's letter part and crying AGAIN lol

yes, this episode in particular was an emotional rollercoaster at the end. even though this wasn't filmed during the actual day of the holiday but the fact that the program's team went as far as asking the boys' parents to do their favorite dishes and write them letters was really sweet especially because they been going through a lot (Mingi's hiatus & their comeback being near) and they definitely needed that so it was a really sweet gesture of them. like you said, all the letters and just knowing about the dishes was emotional but Hongjoong's letter from his parents was on a different level. the way his mom didn't just pick any of his written songs but "From" out of them all which is the song he composed from the boys' letters to their parents and his to the members before debuting, to write it back at him made me really emotional. his parents weren't approving his career choice (just like most idols' parents because they know how hard it is) and yet they supported him no matter what and now using his lyrics back at him just shows how much they're proud to have him as their son. glad you're enjoying the episodes so far because you'll absolutely love the next one!
