The cast is absolutely spot on especially for Spongebob, Patrick, and Plankton in my opinion. You simply must see it! And I agree with the sentiments everyone is saying about the show itself I definitely would stop at around 8 or 9. 10 and 11 to me is still watchable but the Spongebob they're airing now is absolutely a sin to the show.

Hey, now, I'm a 26-year-old adult who loves Spongebob and other animated shows! One of my favorites is the 2017 Ducktales! xD If I'm not mistaken, the second episode was actually the pilot they pitched for the show; that's why there is no dialogue. I think they originally had Spongebob have a bit of a Crush on Sandy but decided to make him more Asexual. However, they do have their moments. I admit I do ship them.

The series was initially only supposed to go 3 seasons and then the movie but then more got made and it really started to drastically go downhill around Season 6 or 7. For reference, they are still making new episodes, I believe they are in Season 13 now
