This is one of my favorite remakes. The only thing I disagree with you is that Emma Watson was perfect for this role. A lot of people including myself think they should've picked an actress who could sing, or at least re cast Emma Watson's singing voice because not even the auto tune could save her

2022-12-20 10:09:23 +0000 UTCSo, on my IPad I downloaded the movie because of loading issues, and the downloaded video opens up using the internet app (you can’t go to any other tabs while the movie is playing). I have the Disney Plus app, which allows a small window so that you can work on other things while it plays. I had it as the small window while having the downloaded video page open, but once I played one, the other would pause. And, yeah, I’m not sure why I’m having audio issues either. The only thing I can think of is that maybe phones allow you to play the audio louder— unless my hearing is just getting bad. Half of the time I have my phone’s audio in the red zone, which warns you of potential hearing damage. I just can’t be bothered to pay attention to what people are saying. I’d rather spend my time analyzing what they’re saying. Plus, if I’m listening to the news on my phone while doing dishes, I need the audio to be louder than the water. But, yeah, I need to use my IPad for your reaction, since it needs to be downloaded. And to be clear, I can hear you just fine in the reaction. The movie sounds like whispering.

2022-12-19 07:08:24 +0000 UTCI don't know if this is a problem for other people, but the audio of the movie is really low for me, and I have my computer volume all the way up. I tried minimizing Disney plus to have louder audio, but my IPad won't let both play at the same time and I can't download it onto my phone due to space.

2022-12-19 03:46:43 +0000 UTCI love this remake. As you said, there are a few things about it that I didn't like, but you can say that about any movie. Considering that is is a remake of a childhood classic, we are naturally going to be a bit critical of a creative remake of our beloved film. Considering all that, they did a good job. Just like Aladdin, they kept the original story, and only made a few minor changes that didn't ruin the story. This, and Aladdin are my two favorite remakes. They did great in honoring these classic stories.
