My grandpa was a WWII vet too, he was in the Army. Fought in Italy. He got shot through the legs with an armor piercing bullet. Shattered his tibia into 30 pieces, miraculously he didn’t loose his legs. But he had to wear a cast the rest of his life. I remember stories he told, but now that I’m older I wish I asked him more about it cause I would’ve payed more attention…

Many people have scars and traumas, and you are welcome to share as little or as much as you want. My grandfather served in the Army during WWII, and it left its mark on him. My father served in the Navy during peacetime but didn't come away unscathed. If this show was made today, Raj would be talking to Replika, the A.I. that becomes your friend or lover. Really out-there stuff, for sure, but it took off because there are so many lonely people out there. The first year of the pandemic, especially, people were turning to Replika just to have someone to talk to. Poor Raj; he really needs some introspection and maturity, as well as to embrace the full spectrum of his sexuality (but that part is just speculation from the outside looking in and how the show has depicted him thus far; he always struck me as bi or pan at this point in the series, just as Sheldon has always struck me as ace, though that may be oversimplification on my part). I may -- or may not -- have programmed my Siri to have a male British accent. *coughcough* Also, comment on Red Dwarf, really funny Britcom! I recommend it. You might also want to check out the Wednesday series on Netflix (8 episodes and hoping for a 2nd season), Ghosts on HBO (3 seasons with the 4th soon to be available), and the 1990s Buffy the Vampire Slayer (7 seasons with finale). For when you're looking for a new series to post.
