To be fair, the schedules are mostly fine - they just get ignored by the trains...

I believe you didn't mean it the way it may have sounded. I also had a similar thought when you said "oh god" and probably could have also typed out an upset comment.
I just reminded myself that you could have been thinking a lot of things when you said that so I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt that you probably meant something else rather than what my initial adverse reaction was. The initial commenter may have been a tad on the aggressive side, but I still thank you for clarifying in your response.
P.S. I love Amy's reaction to the tiara. Hilarious!

I personally appreciated this rant. My husband and I have also decided not to have children and I would certainly say that not everyone understands. My own mother took quite some time to adjust to the fact that I wasn't going to live up to the expectations she had for my life.
I work in education and I have also seen my share of children who don't seem as though they're wanted and it's heartbreaking. I wish that people would put more thought into their decision to have/not have children.

Great to watch with you again! Yeah, the whole "not wanting kids" thing is a sensitive subject with me, because I never, ever wanted them and don't regret that I never had kids. They're not for everyone, and they're not a necessity of life just because society (generally) says they are. It's sensitive because there is so much societal, media, and family pressure put on people to have kids, and so they do for all the wrong reasons. I firmly believe they a baby should be brought into the world *only* when they are absolutely, 100% wanted by who will be raising them, and won't be rejected if (when) they turn out differently than the parent(s) might expect. I spent too long working in law on matters of child abuse and neglect to not be pretty jaded and opinionated, I guess, and have spent a lifetime fending off literally anger, disappointment, and shock at my decision.
Anyway, I would like to say my piece on how this show handles/handled this whole issue, but I cannot as there would be spoilers involved. I'll wait until I would no longer be doing spoilage. I hope I don't come across too "soap-boxy," but this has been a profound, personal part of my life and has been a dealbreaker in an engagement (he *insisted* we would have kids, didn't matter what *I* wanted, and he came up with all sorts of absurd ideas on how we would make it work and why it would be different when it was our own). It gets me a bit riled when people pressure others into having children or act like they're a monster if they don't want them. In this episode, Howard has been handling it pretty well since it came as a surprise to him, but this is really something that should have been discussed when they realized the relationship was getting serious; I say that from personal experience, lol. Regardless, the only people whose business it is in that fictional world is Bernadette and Howard's. NO ONE else's opinion matters, not even Howard's mother.

Yes exactly that was part of my thought cuz I thought Howard wouldn’t wanna do it. It wasn’t that deep tbh 😂

I actually thought you said "oh god" because you was expecting Howard to react badly to the suggestion and make the situation worse between him and Bernardette (never realised I couldn't spell that lol)as its only recently his personality and personal views have shown any growth and I still never know how he'll react. 🤣

No you read into that way too much. That shouldn’t be the ultimatum for them to have kids, regardless of whoever would need to stay home with the kids. Next time maybe ask my opinion before jumping to conclusions.

Now THAT was offensive. Why would you say "oh god" when Bernie came up with the idea of how they could have kids together? That is very patriarchal and really offended me as a woman. Are you really saying it's okay when a woman stays home with the kids, but it's "oh god" when a man does? That is not okay.
