This is one of my all time favorite movies. As a kid I related to Max so much... not because of the Dad thing, but... I have a very rare medical condition and because of that I look different. So... Max wanting to be accepted by his peers and always being made fun of.... I related to that so much. The line in Stand Out: "All I need, a second chance, a second thought, a second glance to prove, I've got whatever it takes...." that hit me really hard. There was also a TV series, Goof Troop, where Max and PJ were a little younger, and Max delt with that there too. (A lot of people will call this "The Goof Troop Movie", but while a lot of the premise is the same, there's enough differences that I feel like it cant be the same 'universe'. For example, in Goof Troop, Pete had a wife, and a young daughter, and owned a used car lot, and really hated goofy and was only nice to him when he could take advantage of him, where as in A Goofy Movie, they seem like genuine friends.) I have kinda found my place as an adult, but A Goofy Movie really made me not feel alone.

I also had my friends try because they watch these reactions too and its not working for them either, im kinda confused and upset because I love watching these and Cody's reactions are awesome!!

2022-11-19 05:42:08 +0000 UTCI LOVE POWERLINE. The amount of times I've been listening to the songs heard in this movie and just singing my heart out.. I've lost count. The older I get, the more I understand both Max and Goofy's sides of this whole thing. I'm glad they both managed to get over their problems and got closer in the end, even if it needed one hell of a roadtrip for that to happen. Thanks for reacting to this movie! Might want to check out the sequel as well.

I thought when I was older I'd better understand Goofy's perspective, but honestly he's totally still more in the wrong for me for not listening to his son in the first place. All this could've been solved if Max had went to the party and they went on the fishing trip afterwards.
