Loved watching your reaction. I adore Kovu so much. This is probably my second favorite Disney sequel if you go strictly Disney and not Pixar. Frozen 2 does beat it just a little bit though

Yk i heard about the snow white thing back when everyone was like "the prince is a yk what" and its like well yeah but also hes kinda better then what he was originally ig lmao idk. on one hand making her 14 kinda fits the hero character thing and disney princess thing, rarely are they ever 18 or older, but also like, you create problems with the future generations where what was accepted in the 1930's isnt really okay anymore. yk like the indian scene in peter pan or most of the music from the aristoctats or dumbo in its entirety. they are all pretty racist and they arent trying to hide it cause at the time they didnt really need to.

This is one of my favorite movies and its an underrated film in my opinion ik a lot of people who didn't know it existed because it was part of disney's "direct to dvd sequel" era, but i still think its a good movie. of course i love animated movies period, but i digress. Also cant wait for the monsterverse movies, Skull island is the only one ive seen, and parts of king kong, so im excited for that as well lol!

Fun fact. Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott in Scream) did Kiara’s voice in this movie

Oh man, I just got done watching the reaction, and oh my god, THE FEELS! Like I said before, this is very much my childhood over here. In fact I saw this sequel before I ever saw the first Lion King. Still, to this day I love both movies so much. Man, Love Will Find A Way, and your reaction to it made me cry so bad. All the songs in this movie are so good. I'm SO HAPPY about how much you actually loved Simba's Pride. Welcome to my childhood!

Looking forward to watching this movie again. I haven't seen it in years, but it was a staple of my childhood, and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Honestly, I love the second movie even more than that first one, but I also prefer Romeo and Juliet over Hamlet. Got to say, despite stealing from Shakespeare and the Grimm Brothers, Disney knows how to make things original. Then again, they have to. Can’t exactly show kids movies of evil step-sisters cutting off their toes, Kiara and Kovu killing themselves, and Snow White waking up during labor. That’s right. In the original tale, the prince raped Snow White, and she woke up during the pain of child labor. But it’s okay. In Disney’s interpretation they change this to an abused 14-year-old getting kissed by a 31-year-old prince, who we presume run away and get married. Happily ever after?
