Bernadette and Amy add a fun new dynamic to the cast, and it lets us see Penny without solely filtering through the lens of the guys and as the "odd one out" in their group. Penny forever altered the lives of the men, and now she is no longer the lone woman in their geek-circle. I really like how it feels like the group is filling out and....well, *maturing* might not be the correct word, but definitely growing in some way, LOL. I've always been in the geek circle, and I've been and still am in somet of them the only woman, but as I'm a geek, too, I'm very different from Penny. Yet I still relate to her. :p I'm a tabletop gamer, and I have 4 different groups. In one, there is another woman (my best friend), and another there are two other women, but in 2 of my gaming groups, I'm the only female, lmao.
