2022-08-25 01:14:41 +0000 UTCThat last episode, the board game they were playing was Talisman. Probably an early version, as the cutout pawns are actually now detailed plastic figures. It's one of my favorite board games, and I also play a computer version of it. There is no "enslaved by Warlocks" that I've ever come across (it looked like Raj actually landed on the Forest or the Village), but if you like board games, you really should check it out. It's a fun game that never plays the same twice and has a lot of fantasy RPG elements. Just had to comment on it when I saw the cutout pawn of the Warrior character, lol.

She knew *nothing* of science fiction, science, or a lot of the pop culture, and I would have to explain it to her (not so much the physics, that's beyond me, lol). Yet, she still loved this show so much. Sheldon was her favorite (and mine). Jim Parsons is iconic in that role. You should check out his work as Michael in the reboot (2020?) of The Boys in the Band! My mother has been gone nearly 4 years now, and watching this with you brings back a flood of happy memories explaining the references to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, superheroes, etc. Because of this show, I got her to watch some of the X-Men movies before she passed, and she ended up loving superhero movies! She would deny it, but I know she loved them. She saw the first Deadpool and cracked up watching it!
