Updates to my Production Schedule

Hello hello, I already shared this over on YT but wanted to reiterate here as well.

Just some small announcements (all good):

1. Like six months back or something, I reduced my output a bit. I was going through a very complex and drawn out personal transition in my life, and just needed the extra time for life-y things. But lately it’s all felt a little too few and far between, even for me. So, I’m working on getting things back on track, starting in February. 

2. In ADDITION to a slightly higher output, I’ve also been wanting to re-publish some of my original videos. I’ve mentioned this before—my early stuff used really poor quality video assets. And I’ve put in a lot of work remastering those videos since, but without the ability to actually replace the originals here on YouTube. And as long as I’ve got HQ versions, I’d really like them to be what’s publicly available. I’ll just throw these up on off-weeks between new uploads. They won’t be in place of new videos, just in addition—just in case they’re ones you’ve missed, or feel like checking out again. And I’ll leave pinned comments on them explaining that they’re reduxes. 

Also, for what it’s worth, the majority of those early videos were demonetized, and the reduxes likely will be as well. So I don’t know how much monetary gain there is to be had. No lie, it would be nice to finally get paid for them. But if they can reach new eyes, that’s kind of the most valuable thing at this point. Also just having a fully HD catalogue. 

3. Lastly, I don’t know how this’ll turn out, but as a bit of a preview, I’m going to try a new segment here in a few weeks focusing on movies scenes that make me cry. I’m not a huge cryer in movies, so when it happens it always intrigues me as to HOW it happens. What the movie did structurally or through a particular performance in order to achieve that moment. So, we’ll see how that goes. Could be an interesting exploration if I can pull it off.
