2022-05-08 18:48:22 +0000 UTCFun fact: Deep Roy, the actor for the Oompa Loompas, filmed each seperate movement for each seperate Oompa Loompa. So every Oompa Loompa is a separate performance by him that was later edited together so it didn’t look just copied and pasted

2022-05-06 05:01:19 +0000 UTCI saw this movie in the movie theater and then later I bought it on DVD, in the extra features there actually was a part called Dance with The Oompaloompas and they taught you the Augustus Gloop dance. Someone might have taken it and put it on YouTube but it was really fun to me when it came out :)

2022-05-01 16:50:28 +0000 UTCYou should check out Dead Man. It is, IMO, Depp's finest acting, just incredible all of his nuances, and the film itself is so haunting. The movie soundtrack is discordant and fits perfectly with the vibe.

(Cover Art: https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388674628l/47401.jpg ) Another one is Finding Neverland (2004), excellent movie and a bit of a tear jerker!

2022-05-01 00:31:00 +0000 UTCi liked the old one due to it's originality, but i liked this one cause it's closer to the actual book....it's odd how many people disliked it as most people complain that a movie isn't close enough to the book....guess most people just liked Wilder in the movie....as for the whole 'oompa loompa's sound rehearsed' bit, they are, if you noticed, both in this one and the gene wilder version, each room seemed 'tailored' to each child's weakness, agustus with the edible room, violet with the gum in the inventing room, etc.
