Aloha Oe, the song Nani sings to Lilo, is actually incredibly culturally significant to Hawaiian people. It was written by the last queen of Hawaii as a farewell to her people. Many Hawaiians hold this song in their hearts as a protest to colonization as well as a song of solidarity and love.

2024-01-25 10:02:24 +0000 UTCThis was one of my favorite movies as a child! Stitch is my favorite Disney character and will always be so! Sad fun fact: The reason Lilo feeds Pudge sandwiches is because she believes he controls the weather. Her parents died in a car crash during a storm.
