I absolutely love this movie! And yeah the moment i realized he was from george of the jungle i was so happy lol. I love all the movies Brenden plays in. Especially journey to the center of the earth - you should react to it to it if you havent seen it!!

The point when you asked why the curse wasn't effecting the main character because those five Americans were the only ones who opened the chest which signifies the cures being places only on them. "To hum so ever opens this chest" including whoever is around while the chest is being opened.

Brenden Fraiser has actually been playing/Voicing Cliff in DC's Doom Patrol. He shows up from time to time in human form because Cliff is pretty much a Robot with a Human brain but he shows up mostly in Flashbacks. Also I Think you meant Tom Cruise not Tom Hanks.

Fun Fact: Brendan Fraser actually performed the hanging stunt. If it looked like it was real it's because it was. He wasn't acting they literally almost hung Brendon Frazier.

It was fun watching with you and hearing your input! Yep, Benny's greed got him in the end. He was ready to go with a bag, and then he did that look of, "wait, there's more in there," and went back for another bag of treasure. If you get the chance, I would really recommend you watch the original The Mummy with Boris Karloff. It's a classic with good reason. There's a scene where you can actually see and almost hear the *SNAP* of a character's sanity. While of course it doesn't have the theatrics and graphics of the modern reboot, the original is a masterpiece of its own that stands the test of time.

Scarabs or beetles? Yes. :) Scarab beetles. I love bugs (except spiders also, lol). As far as the description of mummification and it happening when you're dead, remember in the beginning when the punishment was to mummify the priest's people alive? I believe I've read that there is thought that some people may in fact have been mummified alive IRL, but I'm not positive about that. Well, soon they would die in the process, I guess! The canopic jars is where they stored the internal organs.

Oh man, when you said "As long as there are no spiders I'm good!" I said to myself "You'll wish they were spiders when you see what they do." Those beetles freaked me out when I first watched this!🤢🤢🤢 They still do actually... 😂

fun fact, when the guy jumped off the boat after O'Connell, that was completely improvised as his exit from the boat wasn't in the script

I'd love you to rewatch the scorpion king. And I don't think brendan fraser had an accident. At least it didn't mainly caused his dissapearence. I think multiple things caused his dissapereance. He got sexually harassed, his divorce from his wife plus that he got several injuries from the mummy movies because he did most of his stunts. He once said during the filming of the mummy 3 he was only held together by tape and ice. The only thing that made him able to do the mummy 3 was an exoskeleton. He had many surgeries after
